Program-1 Prayer Dance (Grade 3)
Anchor 1: Parents and friends, do you feel some turbulence around here??
Anchor 2: Yes, we do …the heartbeats have gone up …. and everyone is eager to
sink into the depth of music, songs, dances, lights, and joy.
Anchor 2: It’s Showtime now. Today, we will have a rainbow of programs to
entertain you with the enthralling performances of our participants. So let’s begin
the cultural events….
Anchor 1: Now hold your breath for the first performance. Prayer means the
participation of one’s soul. To evoke the blessings of the Almighty and to purify
and prepare our souls let us offer prayers in the form of dance.
Anchor 2: Let us join together in celebrating the father and the love that he has for
all of humanity. Please put your hands together for the charming start of the show,
Prayer Dance by Grade 3 children.
Program 2 Step & Style Dance (Grade 4)

Anchor 1: What a soulful performance!??
Anchor 2: Yes this dance made this magical evening even more magical by
expressing our gratitude to our Lord. Thank you, God!
Anchor 1: Now you will witness another sensational performance by Grade 4. It is
a Retro Classical (clap-pat-clap-sap) 'the clapping song' which seeks to capitulate
focusing on the artistic styles.
Anchor 2: Please welcome the dance group to come onto the stage and show us
their dancing skills. Let’s hear it for them.
Program 3 Classical Dance (Grades 5)
(After the Performance – Step & Syle Dance)
Anchor 1: Wow… what an amazing style? They grooved and moved their steps
rhythmically to the song expressing a stylish emotion. Kudos to you friends….
What next (name)?
Anchor 2: "Lord Jesus has heard my prayers, By His Amazing Grace, He has
accepted me. Day and night, I was a terrible person, yet He heard my voice and
lifted me. He removed my sinful nature and He covered me with His blood. He
gave me another chance and showed me, love."
Anchor 1: Wow!!! These lines are amazing and thought-provoking… We are
always wrenched in God’s love and mercy.
Anchor 2: Yes, next let's welcome our beautiful girls from Grade 5 to perform a
splendid classical dance, to invoke the presence of the Lord Jesus. The students
here would convey these meaningful thoughts through their mesmerizing dance
form.
Anchor 1: Dear parents, let us shower our love and praises to The Almighty God
through this soul-searching Indian Classical dance. Please give it up for them…..
Program 4 Feather Drill Dance (Grade 4&5 girls)

Anchor 1: What an energetic performance!!!??? Please give them a huge round of
applause.
Anchor 2: Now it’s time to bring the thunder down by showcasing the lyrical
genius of Queen’s Bohemian, Feather Drill Dance.
Anchor 1: A stunning colourful drill performance by our Grade 4 & 5 girls. Let us
welcome the girls onto the stage with a big round of applause.
Program 5 Synchronized Swimming – Fast and Furious Fins (Grade 5 boys)

Anchor 1: Bravo friends!! You coordinated with your mesmerising steps and took
us to an unknown paradise. One more time let’s cheer them up…..
Anchor 2: Coming up next is the synchronized swimming dance.
Anchor 1: Synchronized swimming dance??? What’s that (name)?
Anchor 2: Yes, long lines of blue and white lane dividers gently bob along the
pool’s surface. This is the art of synchronized swimming. It is also known as
pattern swimming or water ballet, is an Olympic sport that mixes swimming with
ballet and gymnastics, and includes diving, stunts, lifts, and endurance movements.
It developed from ornamental swimming and into a recognized sport in the late
19th and early 20th centuries with swimmers performing round dances in the water
as a swimming art form.
Anchor 2: Ohh sounds interesting (name)….So here comes our ‘Fast and Furious
Fins’ of Grade 5 to entertain you all in artistic swimming. Please encourage them
with a warm round of applause.
Program 6 ‘We will Rock You’ Dance (Grade 7)
(After the Performance –Synchronized swimming)
Anchor 1: What a mind-blowing performance by Grade 5 students!!!?? The
movement didn’t eat up the space, with no major leaps or traveling steps, just tight
formations, focused attention to every count of music. Yes, audience…. Let’s hear
it from you… Did you all enjoy their moves????
Anchor 2: Well…We all know that dance has no barriers, it is something that
everyone can feel, understand and enjoy.....
Anchor 1: Rightly said (name). Now it’s time for a rocking western dance
performance by Grade 7 students who are going to rock the show with their
performance named ‘We will Rock You’
Anchor 1: So parents and friends...hold your breath and welcome them onto stage
to perform the rocking dance...give them big applause....
Program 7 Footloose Dance (Grade 8)
(After the Performance – We Will Rock You Dance)
Anchor 1: What a wonderful performance by our students!!! Audience did you all
feel the vibration of the dance???
Anchor 2:
We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness
we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams,
we are the dancers, we create dreams….
Anchor 1: Yes….We have just witnessed a western dancing sensation. Next comes
a Footloose Dance by Grade 8.
Anchor 2: Footloose dance????
Anchor 1: Yes (name). Footloose is a pit orchestra in a rock combo style. The
instrumentation calls for two keyboards, two guitars, bass guitar, drums,
percussion, and a woodwind player.
Anchor 2: I am too excited now (name). Please welcome our Grade 8 students for
a dance show with a huge…huge...huge round of applause…..
Program 8 Bengal Beat Dance (Grade 9)
(After the Performance – Footloose Dance)
Anchor 1: Wow…. really incredible.... You have held captive everyone. The
poetry of footsteps!! A blend of cosmic tune and divine music! Really proved as
icing on the cake for this event. Thank you very much friends for this fabulous
performance…
Anchor 2 : “Dancing is surely the most basic and relevant of all forms of
expression. Nothing else can so effectively give outward form to an inner
experience.” Says Lyall Watson. Brimming with life and wonder, the eastern state
of Bengal, is undoubtedly one of the most popular states of India. Mostly famous
for its architecture and sweets
Anchor 1: Oh…, who would say no to the mouth-watering Rasgullas….. Yum
Yum
Anchor 2: Aww…. You’ll always have cravings for sweet (name). But the fact
that Bengal also has a staggering plethora of various folk dances yet undiscovered.
When you touch someone with your spirit...and in turn, they touch your soul
with their heart. Now get ready to see something special. Do you know what that
is???
Anchor 1: I guess traditional dance of Bengal….
Anchor 2: Absolutely… Our GTCS BENGAL BEATS is ready to discover some
traditional beats of Bengal.
Anchor 1: Put your hands together and let’s welcome Grade 9 dazzlers who have
meticulously practiced for it. Audience give them a good round of applause….
Program 9 Dance (Jr. Kg)

Anchor 1: Ohhh wow….It was really an enchanting art… Yes, now we agree
each folk dance of Bengal is celebrated with extreme zeal and enthusiasm. Thank
you friends….
Anchor 2: Dear audience I hope you are enjoying… but this is not over yet…
This is just the beginning……There are yet more mesmerizing performances to
come….
Anchor 1: Dancing has the power to bring people together, whether it’s seen as a
fun celebration or a beautiful art that even little children can appreciate. This is
perhaps why it is regarded as a standard step towards socialization as youngsters
grow up.
Anchor 2: You don’t stop laughing because you grow older. You grow older
because you stop laughing. Presenting to you our tiny tots from Jr.Kg & Pre Kg
together in a leap of joy to put the stage on fire by their charismatic dance
presentation...
Anchor 1: Ladies and gentlemen! Please give them a warm welcome with big

Program 10 (Sr.KG)

Anchor 1: Wow …… these little children were looking like little angels in that
beautiful dress… There were really cute. Weren’t they? Come on audience.. let’s
hear from you again….
Anchor 2: I would love to watch the tiny tots dance again (name)…
Anchor 1: Again??? Sure…Your wish is my command (name).
Praise and worship is such a powerful device that can dismantle every shackle.
Praise the Lord for what He has given in our lives. That is rendered in Arabic
beautifully by a mellifluous voice.
Anchor 1: I would like to welcome our GTCS Jr. Kg children, the twilight twisters
to perform for this soulful song to cherish our body and soul. Get ready for the tiny
tot twists. Please give them a warm welcome by giving them a big applause.
Program 11 Arican Tribal Dance (Grade 1)
(After the Performance – Sr KG Dance)
Anchor 1: Wonderful children… you are truly amazing…We loved your
performance. Yes audience… give them applause again….
Anchor 2: Parents… We are going to play a ‘guess who’ game now…Can you
guess what would be our next performance just by looking at our costumes??? Yes,
are right…. Tribal Dance. Tribal dances vary from region to region representing
the tradition and culture of the tribe. When these dances are performed, they are
accompanied by music and songs.
Anchor 1: They had to fight ferocious beasts of the jungle and hunt animals and
birds for their survival and existence. Our Little African Tribes from grade 1 are
here ready to celebrate their feast. The stage is all yours Tribes. Lets give it up for
them.
Program 12 Western Cowboy Dance (Grade 2)

Anchor 1: Splendid performance friends….. We thoroughly enjoyed it….
Anchor 2: According to Hans Christian Andersen, “The good and the beautiful
is not forgotten; it lives in legend and in song.” Let’s refresh ourselves by one
more dance…
Anchor 1: What type of dance is this (name)???
Anchor 2: Its Country–western dance (name)… it encompasses many of
the dance forms which are typically danced to country-western music.
Anchor 2: Do you know (name)? The historic American cowboy of the late 19th
century arose from the vaquero traditions of northern Mexico and became a figure
of special significance and legend.
Anchor 1: Oh I see… Now our students of grade 2 are here to present to you the
Cowboy Dance with full enthusiasm and vigor. For that, please give them a warm
welcome.
Program 13 Band (Grades 3,4&5 )

Anchor 1: Wow!!! Indeed a heart-wrenching performance….
Anchor 2: What next (name)? I feel like listening to some music…
Anchor 1: As you wish (name)…Now come along viewers let's have a change
after those breathtaking dance performances. Let us soothe our ears with some
mesmerizing voices. It’s time for some music.
Anchor 1: Yes, Grades 3 to 5 are going to draw the strings of our hearts and add
their soothing and angelic voice to cherish our souls with the best of songs and
music. So, let’s put our hands together and welcome them onto the stage!
Program 14 Band (Grade 6,7 & 8)

Anchor 1: That was magnificent and such a beautiful composition! You, kids, are
truly gifted. Please give these talented children a huge round of applause. Thank
you, friends.
Anchor 2: Music is a vital part of different moments of human life. Music
heals! Music entertains! Music takes us to heaven.
Anchor 1: Yes (name) there are various forms of music performances among
which “Band Performance” is one of them. Practicing and performing in a band
gives the students a chance to learn and strengthen their sense of responsibility,
hard work, and dedication.
Anchor 2: Ohh really??? that’s amazing…
Anchor 1: Dear audiences, our band is on stage, put your hands together for our
energetic, young, magnetic and melodious live band performance by our Grade 6
to 8 students. Let our hearts get soothed by them….Enjoy the music!
Program 15 Band (Grade (9 & 10)
(After the Performance – Band Grade 6-8)
Anchor 1: That was indeed a lovely performance friends. How captivating! How
solacing!!!. The tone of the music still tickles my eardrums…. Isn’t it listeners???
Anchor 2: Indeed they have developed various life skills like leadership,
teamwork and friendship. Above all when they sang and played the musical
instruments, they let out their emotions and felt happy. Keep it up, my dear friends.
Give them a big round of applause.
Anchor 2: Today is going to be a day full of music, happiness, and joy. Let’s move
forward and be ready to listen to another band performance by Grades 9 & 10 to
entertain and electrify the air with their astonishing angelic voices. Put your hands
together and welcome them.

Program 16 Band (Grade (11 & 12)

Anchor 1: That was marvelous and such a splendid mashup!!! Listeners ….Did
you all enjoy??? Do you want some more???
Anchor 2: Yes…. Ladies and gentlemen, it is the time for which you have been
waiting for so long. I would like to introduce Staaccato, our senior band in the
house today who are all set to take us on a journey through the most popular songs
of the 80s rock era and current RNB hits. Their unique style and creativity will
leave you wanting more.
Anchor 1: So, without further ado, please put your hands together and give a
warm welcome Staccato
Program 17 English Play (Grade 6,7,9 & 10)
(After the Performance – Band Grade 11 & 12)
Anchor 1: Sometimes it only takes a few good songs to bring back thousands of
old memories. We truly enjoyed your brilliant and electrifying performance
friends…. (name) I want some change now… What next???
Anchor 2: Yes… After dancing and singing it is time for some acting. “All the
world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their
exits and their entrances;” says William Shakespeare. Now Grades 6 to 12 are
here to bring a smile to your face by acting out their astonishing skills.
Anchor 1: Yes, we head out to a hilarious English play, ‘Facetious Football
Practice’ which turns into a beauty pageant. This play is about a coach and
football players during their practice sessions. So, let’s put our hands together and
welcome them onto the stage to witness what the coach does to the players and the
players’ state. Spectators, sit back and adore the play….
Program 18 Grade Finale (Grade 10 & above)

Anchor 1: Wow, what an act! Great entertainment…. These students deserve
standing applause.
Anchor 2: It was too hilarious… Thank you friends for this illuminating
performance. (name) I think it’s time…
Anchor 1: Yes (name) Last but not least. We have one more dance performance.
Dance is one of the best art forms which allows us to express our thoughts and
emotions without having to speak. Music brings this art form to life and is integral
to our finale.
Anchor 1: Audience! Hold your breath, because once more the stage is to be put
on fire by a zealous dance performance. Please welcome Grade 9 – 12 boys to
bang the stage with their Grade Finale dance.

As said by Martha Graham, it is true that ‘Dancers are messengers, conveying

With this last performance, we are concluding the Annual day function. I wish to
thank all the participants who enthralled the audience with their heart-touching and
captivating performances... Please appreciate them with a huge round of applause.
