The internship opportunity I had with KAPPRIS INNOVATION, Jaipur was a great chance for
learning and professional development. Therefore, I consider myself as a very lucky individual as I
was provided with an opportunity to be a part of it. I am also grateful for having a chance to meet
so many wonderful people and professionals who led me though this internship period.

I would like to use this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to the principal architect of

1.1 Selection of the City

I have decided to intern in Jaipur. This city is my first choice because it is my hometown. It is
also nearest to my home. They work on large scale projects including hospitals, residential
projects, etc. I have to set my office in jaipur in future. I choose this office because I work
there in summer vacation as summer internship.

1.2 Selection of Architect

After selection of the city, it is most important to explore offices thoroughly. While searching
for office profiles, I got through the profile of White Shapes, lead by Ar. Kapil Mistry
He is armed with an in-depth knowledge and extensive expertise in the realm of architecture
and interior design, this architect and the firm is known for transforming minor interior details
and mortar into extraordinary spaces. Their professional enterprise visualizes, ideates and
implements residential, commercial and/or industrial projects that redefine a particular area's
architectural landscape at large.

He puts in a lot of thought and ideas into every project that is undertaken. A meticulous
process of planning, designing and implementation is followed for each and every project it
undertakes. It offers a myriad of architectural design and development services for
bungalows, corporate offices, recreational centers, sports centers, airports, townships,
railway stations, low-cost housing projects, and civil redevelopment and infrastructure
projects.
 CHAPTER 2: THE OFFICE PROFILE

2.1 Structure of the Office

KAPPRIS INNOVATION, Jaipur was found by Ar. KAPIL MISTRY in 2010 with an experience of
more than 20 years.

It offers a myriad of interior design and development services for bungalows, hospitals, hotels,
corporate offices, banking and financial institutions, commercial complexes, shopping malls,
educational institutions, recreational centers, sports centers, airports, townships, railway
stations, low-cost housing projects, and civil redevelopment and infrastructure projects.

2.2 Working of Office

Working hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

The office works on a four-level hierarchical system. On the top there is principal architect,
after that, there are other senior aarchitect, junior architects, senior and junior interior
designers, site supervisor, interns and 3d visualizer. At the very bottom lies the intern.
Interns can either report to Junior Architect, interior designers and civil engineer or they can
also directly report to principal Architect. All the staff works as mentor for the interns.
 CHAPTER 3: PROJECTS

As an intern I had opportunity to work on multiple projects in different roles and I

had been able to participate in several stages of the construction and interior
design process.

CHAPTER 4: CONCLUSION
Conclusion

• My internship experience has been unforgettable. I had the opportunity to spend

months studying and working in Kappris Innovation, Jaipur. Every day in the office
has been an opportunity to learn something completely new.

• I had the opportunity to work on multiple projects in different roles and I have
been able to participate in several stages of the construction and design process.

• Some of the main tasks I carried out included: Designing and Furniture layout
according to Vaastu, construction details, Façade Treatment, interior designing,
embellishing final drawings, 3D-modeling of building and surroundings, and using
Photoshop to enhance CAD drawings.

• In addition to all thing architecture and work related, I was able to meet so many
interesting people and share with them many ideas and moments. I was also given
valuable advice from many successful individuals and forged numerous new
friendships.
