LGA COORDINATOR – ITN CAMPAIGN October 2023 – November 2023


Management Sciences for Health (Global Fund GC-7, Niger States)

Responsibilities

 Coordinate vendor activities in the LGA.


 Provide operations and finance related operational support in the LGA.
 Support the ITN campaign team in providing monitoring and supervision of campaign activities in the LGA.
 Responsible for preliminary review and collation of documentations required for activities in the campaign states before they
are forwarded to MSH GF Malaria office in Yola, Adamawa State.
 Provide real time support and monitoring information on the use of android devices during household mobilization/ITN
distribution activities.
 Coordinate device and inventory management within the assigned LGA.

Coordination and Oversight:

 The LGA Coordinator will ensure LGAs are implementing the campaign in accordance with the National Operational Manual
and MSH guidelines.
 S/he will supervise personnel recruitment, support the LGA in advocacy to stakeholders, ensure trainings are carried out
accordingly and support the trainings as required, support monitoring and supervision of all campaign activities, support
personnel data changes on the ICT4D platform.
 S/he will ensure review meetings are held at the LGA level, export LGA HH mobilization/ITN distribution coverage data from
the ICT4D platform and discuss during review meeting, with a view to escalating issues that cannot be resolved at the LGA to
the state campaign team for intervention and quick resolution.

Operations:

 The LGA Coordinator is expected to collate the digital and paper attendance sheet and verify names on the attendance
sheets. This entails line by line verification and conduct spot checks for paper attendance and populate the information
from the support documents in a required excel template.

 The LGA Coordinator will verify the account details of campaign personnel using standard methodology. S/he will be
responsible for preliminary onsite review of information/data in the field before documents are sent to MSH office, Yola,
Adamawa State.
 The LGA Coordinator will collate other support documents that are necessary for payment (such as copies of waybills
etc). S/he will be the link between MSH and the LGA personnel. S/He will send payment schedule to the State Team, for
further confirmation and revert to participants with issues that need follow-up.
 The LGA Coordinator will be responsible for distribution of campaign materials (training and implementation) for their
respective LGAs and timely delivery to the LGA team. S/he will be responsible for liaising with food vendors for each
LGAs to ensure timely delivery of the food, the right quantity based on agreement with the vendor and to report issues
with regards to the feeding if any.

ICT4D:

 The LGA Coordinator will ensure effective compliance with the CAT strategy process and provide the required technical
guidance to ward supervisors, household mobilizers/ITN distribution teams on the use of the android devices, solar
chargers, and the Red Rose application.
 LGA Coordinator will ensure distribution (and subsequent retrieval) of ICT4D tools to identified cluster supervisors,
household mobilizers/ITN distribution teams; and update the inventory as necessary. S/he will update device distribution
inventory database upon retrieval of devices from cluster supervisors, household mobilizers/ITN distribution teams.
 S/he will ensure submission and signing of device security, safety and management document by cluster supervisors,
household mobilizers/ITN distribution teams before collection of ICT4D tools and will also provide and deliver buffer
devices in a case of theft, loss or damage to ICT4D equipment assigned to campaign personnel for an activity. S/he will
ensure completion of device incidence report forms where necessary and provide real time field evaluation report on the
use of the devices to designated ICT4D focal supervisor.
 Any other duty as assigned by the campaign team.

ICT4D-TRAINING AND TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANT (TTA) September 2022 – October 2022


Catholic Relief services (GF- GC6)

 Support the setup, configuration, and deployment of ICT4D devices for the operation and implementation of health
interventions to ensure efficient service delivery against established policies, procedures, and service standards.
 Deploy, configure, and maintain Red Rose applications and utilities and Air Watch on android devices for the GF
Malaria Project.
 Configure, monitor, and maintain the Cash and Asset Transfer (CAT) platform and data collected using the ICT4D
devices as per the CAT Strategy requirement and agency business data policies and procedures.
 Provide field-level technical support to campaign personnel on the CAT platform and CAT devices during the various
pre-campaign trainings and LLIN mass campaigns.
 Troubleshoot and address any issues to ensure optimal performance of the databases, networks, servers and devices.

agency business data and information.
 Prepare statistical reports on ICT-related data and metrics. As needed, implement measures to ensure required standards

supply and functionality, both in the office and in the field.

Responsibilities

 Monitor the implementation of all SMC activities in assigned LGA, including timely implementation of the work plan,
planning meetings, commodity distributions, community mobilization activities, supervision, and reporting.
 Ensure accountability of received commodities and supplies through tracking of consumption levels and review of
reconciliation reports at the LGA level.
 Responsible for the coordination of capacity building for other field workers (Supervisors, HFW, CDDs, community
mobilizers, etc) through training, on the job support, and quality supervision in assigned LGA.
 Track progress towards achievement of SMC targets in assigned LGA and ensure timely implementation of planned
