4) 25.00 𝑥 1
Solution
(a) Concentration of KMnO4 in A in g dm-3
Molar mass of KMnO4 = 39.0 + 55.0 + (16.0 x 4) = 158 g mol-1
Conc. in g dm-3 = conc. (mol dm-3) x molar mass (g mol-1)
= 0.0200 x 158 = 3.16 g dm-3
Solution
(a) Concentration of KMnO4 in A in g dm-3
Molar mass of KMnO4 = 39.0 + 55.0 + (16.0 x 4) = 158 g mol-1
Conc. in g dm-3 = conc. (mol dm-3) x molar mass (g mol-1)
= 0.00890 x 158 = 1.41 g dm-3

(c) Concentration of Fe2+ in B in g dm-3
Molar mass of Fe2+ = 56.0 g mol-1
Mass conc. or conc. in g dm-3 = conc. (mol dm-3) x molar mass (g mol-1)
