1. Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking 12.1


The following functionality has been enhanced as part of the Oracle FLEXCUBE release 12.1

Please note that the functionalities and enhancements listed below are not exhaustive. For detailed product
features and insights please refer to the user documentation.

Enhancements to the Existing Modules

1.1 Core Module Enhancements

 Customer Name: Mandatory field “Short Name” has been made as optional field by introducing a configurable
override message.

 Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):The MFA token or PIN is generated just before the authentication is required and
expires in a few minutes

 Multi Country Changes: Every branch is assigned to a country. Validation is brought in to restrict transactions
between branches belonging to different countries.

 FATCA Phase3 regulatory requirements

 New screen to view the FATCA audit log


 Users can choose the payment product to transfer referred tax amounts
 Required associated documents automatically linked to the classification record
 Customer classification recorded as part of FATCA audit log record
 IGA domicile status & income codes captured

 Customer Limit: Ad-hoc period supported and to restrict transactions based on the previous number of
working/calendar days from the current system date.

 'Tax Identification Number’ is made available at customer creation main screen

 IBAN Changes : BBAN format mask maintenance along with auto generation of BBAN/IBAN

 Core Memo Instructions

 Module wise instruction maintenance


 F6 key, to display instruction for a customer, function ID and module.
 Overrides functionality is enhanced for specific CL screens

 Force Debit against Uncollected Funds: Any debit transactions initiated from Branch over the counter or through
Inward Clearing will utilize the uncollected funds when the transaction amount exceeds the account balance by doing
the force debit against the uncollected funds

 Product Transaction Limits Maintenance to support role based authorizations

 Option to configure sequential or non-sequential authorization workflow


 Option to configure alternate authorization workflow for contingencies
 Support to authorize multi-branch transactions
 Final authorization will be supported from the contract screen

1.6 Messaging System

 User is prompted to confirm if the first print of the advice is successful

 ‘Reprint’ is printed if duplicate prints are fired for the same advice

1.7 Signature Verification

 Amount Slab based instructions maintenance for signature verification

 View all the signatures linked to account in one single page, using hot key F12

 Customer and account level signatures verification from external systems

1.8 Term Deposit

 Pre-closure penalty factor based on the TD completed period percentage and can be applied based on

1.9 Current and Savings Account

 Alternate Branch Code

 Alternate Branch Code up to five characters.


 The account mask maintenance to accept alternate branch code
 The account number generation logic to generate unique serial numbers based on the Alternate Branch
Code

 Debit/Credit with Additional Override

 New account statuses introduced – Debit Override & Credit Override


 Transactions to the accounts will raise additional overrides
 Transaction code level configuration to scope the override for online , batch or both types of transactions

 A hot key is provided to display the joint holder names and mode of operation

 Introduced Maximum limit that can be swept from the cover accounts. This limit can be configured per
transaction/per day

 Passbook Enhancements

 Provision to compress multiple transactions and print a single line on CASA passbook

a. Provision to maintain limit for unprinted transactions at account class level. If count of unprinted
transaction is more than the limit, system to compress transactions.
b. Printing passbook using self-service channels such as Kiosk machine

 Provision to re-print the passbook in case of customer request based on last number of printed transactions
and/or on the particular date
 Separate account can be assigned as ‘Charge account" to collect the passbook issue charges for a
customer
 Passbook balance can be enquired
 Provision to generate ad-hoc report to show date wise details of passbook issued to various accounts
 Ability to generate report to show the details of inventory for which Inventory balance adjustment is done.
Inventory balance adjustment reason can be selected

 Walk-In Customer or an Account holder of the Bank can do international funds transfer by remitting cash in foreign
currency

 Single Stage Conversion

 All branch screens have been converted to follow the single stage flow with a single screen and for
subsystems, buttons instead of tabs.
 On rejection by remote authorization, the maker is allowed to make corrections and continue.
 After authorization the maker will not be able to amend fields

 In the de-centralized branch setup, branch will use the branch database for pickup and LOV instead of the existing
function of calling the host.

Enhancements to the Existing Modules

3.1 Standalone Architecture Changes

As part of this change, common entities and services of Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking have been segregated into a
common/standalone core. This includes following areas:

 Core entities(Bank, Branch, Country, Currency, Holiday Calendar, Periodic Rates)
 Core infrastructure
 EOD infrastructure

This is to avoid redundancy and also to have standardization of common core across FLEXCUBE product processors. This

Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking. All these product processors including Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking have
been enhanced to work with Common Core

3.2 Core Module Enhancements

System is enhanced to support account switching operations and messages. A set of new screens are provided for
capturing and managing the request and response workflow defined by the account switching service definition for
UK. Message browser would be provided to view the outgoing and incoming messages .

3.3 Term Deposit Module Enhancements

 System enhanced to support negative interest for Term Deposits.

 System allows waiving of penalty during partial redemption.

 System allow multiple formulas support, If there is more than one formula of same type then amount calculation will
happen separately

3.4 Islamic Banking

 Rental advice compensation adjustment to next schedule: System enhanced to collect the compensation amount
calculated post advice generation date, from the customer as part of next due date, only after advising the same to
the customer during the next rental period.

 Life Takaful support: System enhanced to define and calculate Life Takaful for Islamic finance products. Life Takaful
will be supported for both construction period and post construction period for construction finance products.

 Murabaha Balloon Payment: System enhanced to offer balloon repayment feature to the customers availing
Murabaha financing. Balloon repayment can be availed with and without rollover options.

 Asset rescheduling changes: System enhanced to display installment details in rescheduling input screen. Bank will
be able to reschedule construction period profit only for an account, in addition to the existing rescheduling features.

 Guarantor Salary Account enhancements: Facility provided to have limit days for considering guarantor and other
CASA accounts for settlement at finance account level in case of default. This will enable banks with flexibility and
control at individual finance contract level. System enhanced to allow linkage of salary accounts of different currency
to finance account.

 View XIRR for Murabaha and Istisna: System enhanced to allow the user to view the XIRR used for schedule re-
distribution along with the actual XIRR.

 Un-earned profit booking (UIDB) event provided to book the total profit upfront for other profit components along with
main profit component. Whenever there is a change in profit, UIDB event will be triggered to post the difference in
the amount.

 System enhanced to reduce manual intervention by automatically rebuilding the schedules on construction end date
amendment for Istisna product.

 System enhanced to configure variable rental recalculation based on outstanding principal for Musharaka and
Musharaka under construction products, in case of repayment default. System enhanced to calculate incentive in
case the overdue is paid and the same will be paid as part of next liquidation date of variable rent component.

 System enhanced to support nominal disbursement for forward Ijarah product category and also enabled for upfront
profit booking based on the nominal disbursement amount.

 System enhanced to specify the window of repayment for Istisna accounts in Istisna contract creation screen.
System calculates the construction period schedule based on end of construction date and window of repayment. All
other schedules will be derived based on the construction period due date.

 New profit calculation methods for Murabaha and Istisna have been introduced.

 Flat profit method: Profit is calculated at a flat percentage rate and then equally divided across the repayment tenure.

 Simple average method: Profit is calculated at simple rate with reducing principal and then averaged across the
repayment tenure.

 System enhanced to support handover period for Forward Ijarah, Musharaka under construction and Istisna product
categories. Also provided support to automatically re-build schedules on handover date amendment.

 Vendor payment screen modified to provide payable bank and payable branch details from Bankers Cheque or
Demand Draft issuer banks details screen.

 Islamic banking business processes i.e. contracts, lifecycle events and related accounting entries have been
assessed to be in compliance with the standards published by Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic
Financial Institutions.

 Payments and collections module enhanced to capture loan account number. The incoming payment and outgoing
collection transaction processing enhanced to process loan based on the loan account number.
 The CL account input and manual disbursement screen enhanced to capture the payment details

3.8 Consumer Lending Module Enhancements

 System enabled to support the Consumer Loans module with negative interest rate. Based on this feature, accruals
would be allowed on expense and payable for the negative amounts. The negative amount would either be paid to
the customer or settled against the overdue schedules of the loan.

Supports SWIFT 2016 standard release guide changes for category 3 messages (Treasury Markets – Foreign Exchange,
Money Markets and Derivatives) and category 9 messages (Cash Management and Customer Status).

3.11 SEPA SDD CORE 9.2 and SDD B2B 7.2 Changes

Supports SEPA RB Core 9.2 and B2B 7.2 changes, as follows,

 Sequence type ‘FRST’ is optional under SDD mandate for recurrent core and B2B collections.
 SMNDA indicator in the original debtor account instead of original debtor agent.
 SDD Core collections presented for the first time, on a recurrent basis or as a one-off collection can be presented up
to D-1 inter-bank business day

3.12 Fast Accounting Changes

System enabled to support Fast Accounting to reduce the transaction window time by enabling this feature at module level. As
part of the transaction, customer account withdrawal balance will get updated after performing the necessary validations
whereas the other functions handled by the current accounting such as posting accounting entries, Inter Branch(IB) entries,
etc., will get processed later (out of the transaction window) as part of an asynchronous job/batch. Statement, passbook
printing and query screens are modified to refer new data stores

Enhancements to the Existing Modules

4.1 ISO 20022 Account Statement CAMT 053

 System enhanced to support generation of CAMT053 message as an XML-based Customer Statement Message
based on ISO 20022 format, for Bank to Customer statement for cash management.

 This is supported for Customer Accounts where it provides account holder with the necessary information about all
booked entries, including the SEPA transactions within unified euro payments.

4.2 Multi-Currency Account

 Current and Savings Account module has been enhanced to support Multi Currency Accounts. The system would
generate Multi Currency Account number when the primary account for the customer is opened in FCUBS, under a
multi-currency account class.

 Additional accounts in supported currencies can be opened subsequently using the multi-currency account number
as reference. System enhanced to support transactions on the multi-currency account, where system would
internally route the transaction to appropriate account.

4.3 Account Switch (CASS) enhancements– Phase 2

 Allows changing of Redirection account number in new bank even after Account switch is initiated.

 XML notifications are supported on contract data creation and deletion by the new bank and old bank respectively.

4.4 UK Localization changes

 Support for maintaining address codes and use the same as proxy to input address details in various FCUBS
screens are provided.

 Support for maintaining ‘Company Code’ which can be later used to validate CIF creation for corporate customer.

 Standing Instruction Maintenance: To capture initial and final amount for an SI, typically for loan repayments, can be
a different amount other than the periodic instruction amount.

 360 degree customer view screens enhanced to display queried customer’s

 Obligation details i.e. where queried customer is guarantor to other entities.


 Reverse relationships i.e. queried customer’s linkage to other primary customers.

4.5 Trade module enhancements

 Negative Interest – BC: Bills and Collections module has been enhanced to support Negative Interest Rate during
Purchase / Discount of Export Bills and Advance of Import Bills.

 Guarantee claim settlement: Claim settlement functionality developed to settle the claim against Bank Guarantees.
Claims can be settled through Guarantee Claim Settlement process. During claim settlement, collateral and loan
facility can be used to settle the claim in case of inadequate funds in customer settlement account. Guarantee claim
lodgement feature enhanced to handle receipt of documents.

4.6 Trade Interface enhancements

 Gateway operations supported for consumption by front office systems to get the commissions, charges, taxes
calculated from FCUBS and also to validate the transaction data without creating a contract in the system for the
following operations-

 LC Contract Simulation (entire lifecycle)


 Guarantee Claim Lodgement and
 Guarantee Claim Settlement

 System is enhanced to allow modification of rebate amount calculated by the system in case of asset pre closure of a
Murabaha account.

 System is enhanced to display the history of down payment details in down payment screens.

 For Mudarabah accounts, payment screen is enhanced to display the loss in profit for the bank which is the
difference between the actual profit and notional profit when the actual profit is less than the notional profit.

 Deletion of Track receivable is supported for few more modules.

 Usability changes in simulation and CI account screen.

4.9 Islamic Liability Module Enhancement

System is enhanced to display the final profit based on the final adjusted annualized rate in account class wise profit
distribution block of profit distribution batch screen.

4.10 SAML 2.0 Enhancements for SSO

 Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) is an open standard to securely exchange authentication and
authorization data between an enterprise identity provider and a service provider. FCUBS has been made SAML
compliant. It can accept SAML messages to login into FCUBS.

 A new interface layer is introduced in the login process which will also support any token based validations other
than SAML; provided code is handled at custom/cluster layer.

4.11 SWIFT SRG 2017 changes

System enhanced to support mandatory changes as per SRG 2017 changes

 Category 1: Customer Payments and Cheques:

mandatory.

4.13 External accounting interface

 External systems can trigger accounting entries to FCUBS via the external accounting interface. System enhanced to
allow accounting handoff for transactions from product processors.

 FCUBS accounting module would handle ECA (External Credit Approval) /EAC (External Account Check) requests
from external systems and process the external accounting transactions.

4.14 IC Intraday Performance Changes

 System enhanced to reduce the ICEOD batch timing by calculate the interest as part of intraday activity.

 Value dated SDE changes, which will skip daily interest recalculations. Recalculation would be performed only if any
balance / rate change happens.

4.15 FCUBS Integration with Corporate Lending

FCUBS is enhanced to display the loan details of OFCL contracts in ‘Loans’ tab of 360 degree customer view of
FCUBS in an integrated FCUBS and OFCL environment

4.16 FCUBS Integration with Oracle FLEXCUBE Payments system

 New notifications on creation of GL Code and transaction code can be sent to the external system from FCUBS.

 Exchange rate lookup from external (payment) system can be made via web-service and also web-service is
available to utilize / de-utilize the FX contract of FCUBS by external (payment) system for their transactions.

4.17 Oracle FLEXCUBE Block Chain Adapter

 Block Chain Adapter enables FCUBS to interface with Block Chain systems.

 It enables easy transformation of information between FCUBS and Blockchain datasets.

 This single adapter can work with any version of FCUBS with minimal changes.

 Allows viewing Block Chain transactions from FCUBS.

5.6 Support for Financial Inclusion Accounts

 Financial Inclusion customers and customer accounts can be created in a single operation with minimal data.
These accounts are lighter (no-frills) compared to normal CASA accounts and can be used in limited set of screens.

5.7 Account Forecast (For Nostro Accounts)

A dashboard has been provided to view of current and projected Nostro account positions based on expected future
transactions

Following details are available on the dashboard:

 NOSTRO Account balance and the corresponding mirror account balance

 Reconciled and unreconciled balances

 NOSTRO Projection balances based on projection preference

 Projected NOSTRO balance for a future date or period based on expected future dated transactions

This dashboard can be used for customer account balances also.

5.8 External Accounting Interface Enhancements

External accounting interface which supports posting of accounting to DDA is enhanced as mentioned below

 Account Statement Details


External accounting service is enhanced to capture account statement details from external systems. This data is
used to populate respective tags while generating Account statements (Mail/ SWIFT).

 MIS Details
External system can provide MIS details along with the accounting entries. These details will be used while building
MIS balances.

 Multi-Currency Account
External system can pass accounting entry to a multicurrency account. Accounting interface would derive underlying
CASA account, for a given multicurrency, account number plus currency combination and proceed with accounting.

5.9 Oracle12cR2 Database Qualification Related Changes

 In addition to qualifying the system to Oracle database 12cR2 (Version 12.2.0.1), it is enhanced to support the use of
Oracle directory name instead of file path for UTL_FILE I/O operations as part of eliminating the deprecated features
of Oracle 12cR2.

5.10 Local Limit Support

will be moved to the worst account status.
 Changes are introduced to validate prompt payer at each stage for managing backward account status
changes. System Defined elements are introduced which can leverage in the rule definition to obtain the
effectiveness.

Include Collateral Value in Provision Calculation

 Loans/Overdraft availed with Bank guarantee as collateral, would consider the guarantee amount while loan
provisions are calculated
 Provision amount calculation to negate the provision basis amount (eg: Loan outstanding amount) with Bank
Guarantee amount and then apply provision percentage based on the loan account status and its rule
maintained.

Multiple Principal Schedules for Money Market Contracts

 Multiple schedules for Principal component has been brought in money market module, with support extending
to borrowing and placement contracts during creation, amendment and rollover operations
 Additionally it has been enhanced to accept partial payment of Principal components

 Account Class Maintenance has been enhanced for Term Deposits to capture exchange rate details. Applied FX Rate,
Offset Amount and Offset Currency are introduced in Payin/Payout grid of Term Deposit operation’s screens.

6.9 Enabling Top up and Redemption of TD from Different Branches

 Users are allowed to perform Top-up and redemption of Term deposit from different branches. Term Deposit Top-up
and Redemption has been enhanced to show accounts across all Branches.

6.10 Statement of Fees and Interest for Payment Account Directive(PAD)


 The system has been enhanced to provide Statement of fees and interest illustrating the fees levied and interest

Branch/Teller
 Teller screen - Deposit Locker Rental Payment by Cash (3401) –has been enhanced to support Rental Payment by
Cash when Settlement details are not maintained for the Deposit Locker contracts. Charges sub-system added to the
screen to collect teller level charges.
In Teller BC and DD Issue/Reissue Transactions, Instrument number will be populated at the final stage of
the transaction. In other stages and during Pickup/Enrich, the instrument number field will be shown as
empty.

Consumer Lending
 Consumer lending contract input screen is enhanced to have Message Preview option for unauthorized accounts

CASA
 Quick Customer Addition screen is enhanced to Support Islamic Account Creation along with inclusion of two Islamic

 Provision to support seven extension messages for Guarantee issuance (MT761) and Guarantee
amendment (MT775) messages. Terms and Conditions with Guarantee / Local Guarantee Type
introduced to support the same.
 Support issuance and amendment messages for Counter-Counter Guarantees/SBLCs
 System validates total length of each message should not exceed max 10000 characters and total
length of all 8 messages should not exceed 80000 characters.

Guarantees/SBLCs related enhancements


 Guarantee issuance and amendment screens enhanced to capture Standard Wording, Transfer
Conditions and Terms and Conditions to support SWIFT 2019 latest changes.
 Terms and Conditions can support maximum 78000 characters to support seven extension messages

Obligor Party for Guarantees/SBLCs


 Support Obligor as a party for Guarantees/SBLCs. Claims to be settled by Obligor if available
else to be settled by Applicant as per existing functionality.
 Collateral can be collected from Obligor. Collateral processing during Guarantee issuance,
amendment, claim settlement, closure, cancel and re-open to be handled based on the
collateral percentage from Obligor. New accounting roles and amount tags introduced for the
same.
 Collateral refund, during closure/cancel, to applicant and obligor processed based on Obligor
Collateral percentage.
 Settle Available Amount introduced in Guarantee Claim Settlement screen. Funds from

of operation Collection to Coacceptance. Introduced an event BCAC while changing the operation from
Collection to Coacceptance. Liquidation of Coaccpetance bills will trigger a new event LCAC.
Silent Confirmation
 System enhanced to support silent confirmation for export letters of credits/Islamic letters of credit,
where the bank adds the confirmation to the letters of credit/Islamic letters of credit at the request of the
beneficiary without the knowledge of issuing bank.
 In letters of credit/Islamic letters of credit, in addition to the commitment of issuing bank, the advising
bank can by silent confirmation provides the independent commitment to pay or accept.
Introduced operation code Silent confirmation (SCF), Export LC/LI cannot be booked with operation as SCF,
whereas the operation of export LC/LI can be modified to SCF from ADV and the event AASC – Amendment of
Advice to Silent Confirmation will be triggered.

 Total Payment Suspension: This feature allows suspension of few instalments of
principal or both principal and interest of a loan. Further it is possible to collect the
interest amount of suspended period either immediately after the period or
distribute it over the remaining loan schedule.
 Usury Interest Rates: The average interest rates applied for Loan account by the
financial institutions must not exceed a published Usury Interest Rate (UIR).
Average Interest rate applied for a Loan account must be lesser than specified UIR
during life cycle operations.
 Step up TD Rates: There should be a possibility to define different rates for
different time periods of a deposit. On creation of the term deposit, the maintained
rates should be defaulted to the account.

10.4 External credit approval handling through Java Rest API


External credit approval handling is available as a java rest service which can be used by external
systems. Debit transactions from external system would be processed through ECA.

10.5 Services to support Oracle Banking Digital Experience queries


OBDX integrates with FLEXCUBE via Views for Query purpose, this is being remediated to
use services/APIs from FCUBS. Existing services in FLEXCUBE have been enhanced, new
services introduced to cater requests originating from OBDX.

10.6 Dual Currency Deposit without Options contract


Existing dual currency deposit feature has been enhanced for booking a dual currency
deposit without options contract.

10.7 CAMT053 Straight through processing


Straight through processing of CAMT053 which is an Account Statement message is
supported. Data from CAMT053 is used for Nostro reconciliation.

10.8 CAMT 053 statement generation with additional tags


CAMT 053 message has been enriched to support optional fields for both debits and credits.
The external product processors can send statement information required for CAMT 053
generation along with External Accounting (EA) requests or as a separate call after EA
posting.

10.9 Support for Risk Free Rates (RFR) in Corporate Deposit Module
Corporate Deposit Module is enhanced to support RFR (Risk Free Rate). RFR Rate Input,
Contract Booking with RFR rate, Accrual and Liquidation events with existing Batch are
supported.

10.10 Future Value Dated Rate handling for Corporate Deposit


Overriding of Future Value dated fixed rates against prevailing rate on Corporate Deposit (CD)
Contract Amendment is supported.
Overriding of rates functionality is applicable only for Fixed rate Interest component and is
not extended to Negative Interest rate and floating rate Interest components.

10.11 Inactive Customer Status


A new status as “Inactive” is introduced at Customer level. System would derive this status based
on transactions and contracts for Customers within specified time period. Customer status also
can be re-activated manually. This status is just for information/reporting purpose and is not used
for any validations.

10.12 Enhancement in External Credit Approval (ECA) and External Accounting


(EA)
Tags to send Maker Id, Checker Id and Contract reference number have been added to External
Accounting (EA) API. Notifications are supported for External Credit Approval (ECA) and External
Accounting (EA) Status changes. This can be used for processing after initial requests gets into
Pending status. Additional tags are provided in EA for supporting online/accounting entry level
revaluation. Performance enhancements in ECA/EA.

10.13 Card Management Changes for BIN


Enhancement to hold 8 digits for BIN (Bank Identification number) is supported. This will co-
exist along with current 6 digits support for BIN.

Relationship Pricing module is enhanced to support pricing for external banking product
processors.

10.16 Integration with Oracle Banking Payments for clearing transactions


Integration of FCUBS with Oracle Banking Payments Product processor to support
requirements of Clearing module used in TD(Term Deposit), PDC(Post Dated Cheque) and
RB(Retail Bills) for Outward Clearing.

10.17 Integration with Oracle Banking Payments for Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque
issuance
Modules CASA, TD and CL are integrated with OBPM to provide support for DD (Demand
Draft)/BC (Bankers Cheque) where necessary.
CASA Account Closure, TD partial/full redemption balance can be issued as a Demand Draft
(DD) or Banker's Cheque (BC) through FCUBS-OBPM handshake.

10.18 Integration with Oracle Banking Enterprise Default Management for Loan
collection
Retail Lending Loan Contracts which are overdue on a selected date are extracted with
required details and shared to external collections system Oracle Banking Enterprise Default
Management (OBDEM) of Oracle Banking Product. Collections lifecycle for these contracts
can be managed in OBDEM.

Corporate Lending Product Processor
Corporate 360 degree screen is enhanced to pull and display details of corporate
assets/liabilities from external corporate product processors, namely Oracle Banking Trade
Finance (OBTF), Oracle Banking Treasury Management (OBTR) and Oracle banking
Corporate Lending (OBCL).

10.20 Corporate Deposit Integration with Trade Finance Product Processor


Corporate deposit module is integrated with Oracle Banking Trade Finance product processor for
External LOV and Service during CD Linkage in LC/BC Contracts.
Service changes for Corporate Deposits to block and unblock for an amount is supported.

10.21 Replication of External entities from FCUBS to OBMA Common Core


Replication of Customer and Customer Account from FLEXCUBE (FCUBS) to Oracle Banking
Micro services Architecture (OBMA) Common Core as external entities is supported. OBRH
(Oracle Banking Routing Hub) is used to convert message from FCUBS format of message to
OBMA format of message.

10.22 LATAM Cluster Feature Enhancements

Support of two Interest Modalities - Discounted & Bearing - of Loan Accounts


 Loan account is enhanced for two interest modalities - Discounted in creation,
bearing on maturity through special rollover with outstanding amount.

Cierre Handling

 Manage schedules from aging and its implications when outstanding amount of
schedule is considerably small and within residue amount or percentage
parameterized for Intermediate and Bullet Schedule types.

Clearing Process Restriction

 Restricting clearing process of external bank cheques when presented to bank for
liquidating a loan. Bank will operationally manage the external cheques.

Compound Penal Interest (Interest De Mora)

 Configuring of penal calculation for overdue accounts on schedule due date with
daily compounding.

 Querying Card details through service for Debit Card status, change history,
account and account numbers linked to Debit Card based on Customer RUT and
Debit card number.

Blocking of Debit Cards for wrong PIN tries

 Feature to block Debit cards for maximum wrong pin (validated outside FCUBS)
tries through various channels.

Support for LATAM specific ATM maintenance

 Cross validate Terminal ID during Debit Card transactions to verify its usage at
specific terminals; and to track daily transaction limit amount utilized, daily
transaction counts for ATM and POS transactions.
