MULTIDISCIPLINARY PROJECT (MDP)

TOPIC: KITCHEN ALCHEMY


Class -VI

Science:

➢ Identify carbohydrates, fats and proteins from your daily diet. (Draw some pictures of
your daily diet).
➢ How pressure cooking is done by using pressure cooker.

English:

➢ Create a “Kitchen Alchemy” Wordwall with 10 new words.


(e.g. :- Simmer, Whisk, Fermenting and use each word in a sentence).

Social Science:
➢ Identify different spices that are used in your kitchen and determine the region where they
are mostly found.
➢ Name some of the famous Rajasthani dishes and the spices involved in their preparation.

Maths:
➢ Identify shapes of utensils and food items and draw their pictures also
Plate – circle, Bread – rectangle, Ice cream cone – cone shape
➢ Create a pictograph showing:
➢ Ingredients used
➢ Cooking time
➢ Favourite food survey from siblings.

Note:
➢ Acknowledgment must be written in Sanskrit.
➢ Conclusion must be written in Hindi.
➢ Draw graphs, diagram , pictures and keep each subject on a fresh page for
neatness.(Paper cutting and pasting is not allowed)
