he biggest bird in the world is an ostrich.
T It lives in Africa.
An ostrich can grow 9 feet (3 meters) tall. That’s taller than
a person! They have long necks. They also have big brown eyes.
They can see far away.
Like penguins, they are a flightless bird. That means they cannot fly.
Unlike penguins, they can run fast. They run fast because they have long, strong legs.
They also use their legs to kick things.
Most of what an ostrich eats is plants. They will also eat bugs and small animals
like lizards.
