2024-2025 Intramurals Proposal
Theme: “Strengthening a Culture of Wellness through Healthy Competition”
I. Introduction The Annual Intramurals is a much-anticipated event that fosters sportsmanship, teamwork, and school spirit among students. This year’s event will be a blend of
traditional Filipino games ("Larong Lahi"), modern sports, and cultural activities, with the aim to engage all participants and encourage healthy competition. This proposal outlines
the games, event structure, committee formation, and flow of the program for the 2024-2025 Intramurals.
II. Event Objectives
Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and camaraderie among students.
Celebrate Filipino culture through traditional games (Larong Lahi).
Provide opportunities for student leaders to develop organizational and leadership skills.
Engage the whole school community with diverse and inclusive activities.
III. Event Schedule and Activities The event will run for five days. The following is the proposed schedule:
Day 1: Opening Ceremony and Larong Lahi (March 24, 2025)
7:00 AM – 9:00 AM: School Parade to be led by Brgy. Officials
o Participants will be grouped into teams based on their randomly group for an inclusive experience.
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Opening Ceremony
o Flag-raising, national anthem, introduction of the event, and brief speeches by organizers, and admin.
o Lighting of torch
o Introduction of each team and their respective cheerleaders.
o Cheer dance competition
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch Break
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Larong Lahi (Traditional Filipino Games) ELIMINATION
o Ramp of sportswear of Mr and Ms Intramural

o Tumbang Preso: A classic Filipino outdoor game where participants must knock down a can with slippers while avoiding being tagged.
o Patintero: A popular street game where teams attempt to cross a grid while avoiding being tagged by defenders.
o Sack Race A traditional jumping game that tests agility and teamwork.

VII. Budget and Funding The budget for this event will cover venue preparations, materials for games, prizes, certificates and committee expenses. The funding can come from
student registration.
The 2024-2025 Intramurals will be an exciting and memorable event that unites the school community through sports, culture, and friendly competition. By organizing a mix of
traditional Filipino games, modern sports, and vibrant pageantry, we aim to provide a fun-filled, inclusive event that showcases the talents, skills, and spirit of all participants.
