Reasoning with Mohit Kawatra

1. Clock
In this chapter we will discuss all
about clock, we all are familiar with
the clock. A clock is an instrument  º
used for indicating the time,  º
The face or dial of a clock is divided
 º
along the circumference into 12 equal
spaces are called hour spaces and 60  º
equal space are called minute spaces.  º
The clock has three needles. The
largest one is called the minute hand. Second hand
The smallest one is called the hours  Second hand rotates 360º in 1 minute.
hand.  It rotates 360º in 60 seconds.
 It rotates 6º in one second.

 º
 º
 º

 We know that the hour hand rotates

0.5º in one minute.
 Also, we know that the minutes hand

hand :-  Thus, the relative rotation of hours
hand and minute hand is 5.5º per
minute.

 Look at the table to know the required

Hour hand angle for a particular position of hours
hand and minute hand.
 Hour hand rotates 360º in 12 hours.
 It rotates 30º in one hour.
 It rotates 30º in 60 minutes.
 It rotates 0.5º in one minutes.

Minute hand
 Minute hand rotates 360º in 12
hours.
 It rotates 30º in one hours.
 It rotates 30º in 60 minutes.
 It rotates 0.5º in one minutes.
