Fine Arts Education Classes
Some people argue that elective and the fine arts classes take away from the educational part of
school, but how important is arts education? I believe that the arts programs is crucial for students
as it allows them to find new talents and hobbies outside of the traditional core classes. Having
these arts classes can lead to students doing better in their core classes. Many students feel like
their classes are either too long or complicated and having such classes throughout the day would
allow breaks for them or give them a reason to go to schooleveryday. After having a fun or relaxing
class, the kids can get back to focusing in their next class and perform better.
Theatre arts, dance, and band are just a few arts education classes. They
Minimum Debts
The total amount of minimum payments is $417.99. I solved this by adding up the monthly
minimum payments. Total amount of finance charges came to the sum of $284.23. The total of my
finance charges is 68.00% of my total payments. Credit card companies set their own computation
for minimum payments monthly, this allows consumers to pay off portions of the principal allowing
consumers to get out of debt. When people pay their minimum payments they are paying down on a
loan, in doing so the debt will not get bigger and it will not stay the same. The other problem with
only paying the minimum payments is negative amortization, minimum payment stays the same but
the debt gets bigger and harder to pay off.
Herbert Landry s Incident Case Study
In 2006, firefighters were called to extinguish a fire in an apartment complex. Two residents said
they saw Herbert Landry leaving the complex shortly after the fire started and he quickly became
the main internet of the police. He has moved around a lot due to Hurricane Katrina and was going
to move out of his apartmentto be with his family in Texas. He had his final walk through in the
apartment, then moved into a hotel for the rest of the night. The fire broke out and two neighbors
accused Landry of being evicted. Landry saw the fire on the television and decided to go to the
apartment building to talk to the poke. He was sent to the police station for investigation. Some
samples were taken (the floorboards from the apartment and some of

Comparing Musée des Beaux Arts and Life Cycle of Common Man

Musée des Beaux Arts and Life Cycle of Common Man share a common theme, though the imagery
they use to express it is quite different. Both poems have the theme of life goes on or life stops for
no one. The difference in imagery is the difference between the general and the specific. I believe
that the theme of both poems lies in the same vein, but they take different paths to its development.
Auden speaks more about society in general; then, he gives an interpretation of a painting as an
example. On the other hand, Nemerov expresses the theme through the life cycle of one man, but is
this one man everyman? The they of Auden s poem?

This really is not the case because they are both part of the same essential experience. The only
difference is the distance they have traveled down life s path. While the aged are reverently,
passionately waiting / For the miraculous birth . . . the children go on about their play, thinking of
all the days ahead while the aged sit waiting and thinking about all the days behind. The only
difference between the aged and the children at this point in life is their perspective.

Instead of continuing on about the subtle differences in life, Auden goes back to how life goes on
everywhere no matter what. He moves out of the realm of people and into the ambiguous areas of
there and the world of animals: Anyhow in a corner, some untidy spot / Where the dogs go on
with their doggy life and the torturer s horse / Scratches its innocent behind on a tree. He is stating
that no matter what is happening around you somewhere in the world life is going on regardless of
events good or bad. This human experience that we are all in is an all encompassing event that will
continue along its ineffable course until its conclusion.

Auden then makes a shift from the general to the very specific by using Brueghel s Icarus as an
example of his point. He describes the painting very well‹even if you have never seen it, you could
understand what is happening in the
Italian And Northern Renaissance Similarities
The Northern Renaissance was famous for its advanced oil painting techniques, realistic, expressive
altarpiece art, making portraits on wooden panel paintings, as well as woodcuts and other forms of
printmaking. Stone sculpture was not popular, but wood carving was a German specialty. Prior to
the 1500s, Renaissanceart in Italyhad almost no effect on development of painting and sculpture in
Northern Europe. Even after the 1500s, the High Renaissance blossomed. Issues like religion,
politics, climate and differing artistic traditions, tended to minimize the uptake of cultural ideas from
Florence and Rome.
The Italian Renaissance re established Western art, especially Greek sculpture and painting, which
provided much of the basis for the Grand ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Many think that his wife is pregnant, but she is not. She is just holding up her full skirted dress
in a contemporary fashion. Arnolfini came from family of merchants from Lucca living in
Bruges. The couple are shown in a nice environment that looks pretty expensive and seem to be
wearing nice clothes, which makes them appear to be wealthy. The work is known to be one of
the most impressive paintings during the Northern Renaissance because of how detailed it is.
Some of the details noticed by many are the little hairs sticking out of the dog, the type of cloth
on their clothing, and the material of the clogs in the bottom left hand corner. There are a lot of
questions surrounding the Arnolfini Portrait because Jan van Eyck wrote on the portrait himself
that it was made in 1434, but if the portrait was supposed to be of him and his wife, that didn t
make sense. Many believed that this painting may have symbolized that he had moved on and had
a new woman in his life to love because his wife had died in
Revelation Sparknotes
The book Revelation by David Yonggi Cho is an informative book about the mysteries of
Revelation. Throughout revelation there is trials and tribulations that the people of earth will
have to go through because they did not believe in God, and did not wish to be saved. In
revelation God the Father and the Son will cleanse this world of all sin and evil. Revelation is a
book of the bible that tells what is to come in the future, just like the books Daniel and Isaiah. God
is each one of these books appears to people and gives the visions of what is to come. Jesus is
coming back for his people, they are the true church not the people who act like they are believers.
Jesus will come back for the church before the tribulation this is called the rapture. The Rapture of
the church is the catching up of all true believers in Christ to meet the Lord in the air. People often
times think that the rapture and the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
God will tell his angels to sound seven trumpets at different times, and for each trumpet there was
a great calamity that occured. The first trumpet was hail and fire, the second the sea turned to
blood, third the rivers to blood, fourth there was a darkness, fifth there was a great heat, sixth
there was a the Euphrates dries up, seventh there was a great earthquake and hail. All these things
are to make the people of earth see God s power and to change their ways and give their lives to
God. Sadly this will not happen because they will have hard hearts, and instead hate God. The thing
is since they are not going to change their hearts they will suffer throughout the tribulation wanting
death but it shall elude them. Many will die because of the calamities, but those that don t will have
to suffer in pain on earth. And when they die they will be in even worse pain because they will have
gone to fiery hell rather than the blissful
A Modest Proposal Rhetorical Analysis
In A Modest Proposal by Jonathan Swift, Swift writes about a solution to the poor and starving
people in Ireland in 1729. His solution is to fatten up the poor kids and sell their meat to the rich.
Swift backs up his opinion with data and statistics that support his solution. All the rescreach and
numbers almost makes the solution seem like a real solution. However, this is an extreme version of
satire. While most people who read A Modest Proposalrecognize the satire, other works do not
make it so obvious. Satire can be used in many different types of ways and it can be the driving
piece in a novel. Satire is mostly used to exploit problems in social or political issues. In A Modest
Proposal, Swift is using satire to put the political issues... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Political and social satire go hand in hand in showing examples of the past and the future. While
social satire mainly focus on the current problems of society, political satire can represent a warning
about the future. Both types are important to learn and understand when reading works involving
satire. Putting a light on satire will help people understand satire better. Educating students about
satire in schools starting at a young age will allow for students to grow up with a better
understanding of satire. Satire can play such an important role in novels that it is essential that
everyone understands the concept. Understanding satire will allow for people to see different
viewpoints of today s society through the authors eyes. Satire can add humor to a piece, yet that
humor can be revealing something much different. It is important for people to be able to
differentiate from the two. People first need to understand satire to see the historical importance of it
or understand the hidden warning it can
Guy Fawkes Beliefs In King James I Of England
In my opinion, king James of England disliked Catholics because he didn t want his land under
Catholicism. He was a Protestant. England was under a majority Protestantism. He protected
Protestant rule.

Catholics spoke Latin although it was a dead language. Europe was under a majority Catholicism.
Later Germanic countries split off from Roman Catholicism, as many Germanic speaking people
couldn t understand or write Latin, or didn t accept Roman religious law. They called new Protestant
religions for Anglicanism, Lutheranism, Calvinism and Baptism. European rulers were against the
Pope and Catholicism.

King James ordered all Catholic priests to leave England. Catholics felt in depression. Catholic
priests argued with Protestants. Catholics went to fight against the English Protestants. King James
discriminated against English Catholics.

Why People Believe In Bigfoot
foot Bigfoot is by far one of the most controversial creatures in all of history. Generally, it is
described as a large, hairy, ape like creature. It is reported to have many physical similarities to an
ape, however it walks on two legs like us humans. Just as its name clearly states, Bigfoot is said to
have very, very large feet. The range of its height is between 6 10 feet tall and it is said to be
either brownish or reddish in color. There are many reasons to why people believe in Bigfoot.
The most obvious reason is because of the proof . For hundreds of years people from different
nations have claimed to have spotted or found evidence of the beast out in the wild. The first
evidence found in Canada was in the year 1811, by a man who is said to have found large footprints
in the snow,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One main reason for this is because of the lack of legit proof. The reality is that the vast majorities
of Bigfoot sightings are hoaxes which have been proven to be fake. The small percentage of
actual sightings could easily have been a mistake of seeing some animal on its two legs, or
something of that kind. Also, there has never been actual Bigfoot bones or fossils found anywhere.
Basically, there isn t enough any solid proof to support the fact that Bigfoot actually exists.
Personally, I do not believe that Bigfoot exists. In my opinion, the photographs and video footage
people have captured are incredibly blurry and not very clear to see whether it is an actual beast or
a human in some sort of costume. The evidence that Bigfoot exists is too shaky for me to believe
in a creature this controversial. There are no historical facts that show that a creature like Bigfoot
had ever existed. Also, if people believe that there is a whole species of Bigfoot living in the wild,
how come no one has captured one yet or found out where the species
Food Waste In Food
The United States is a core nation and the people who live here have become accustomed to
getting what they want when they want it. Ordering huge meals at restaurants and filling
shopping carts with every type of food imaginable is a way of life for some. These rituals are
followed by filling up the trash cans with food scraps and out of date items. Overcooking and not
being willing to throw those extra portions in the freezer are common mistakes made in the kitchen.
There are several causes of food waste, as Americans we can cut a portion of that down and enrich
the soil by composting.
Most people might not consider the process of getting the food they consume from the farm to the
dinner table. There is a large amount of product that is lost during this operation. According to an
article from the Natural Resource Defense Council, Losses in our food system occur throughout the
supply chain. Food is lost on farms; during processing, distribution, and storage; in retail stores and
food service operations; and in households for a variety of reasons at each stage (NRDC, 2012).
There are uncontrollable aspects of the farming industry that must be taken into consideration.
Overplanting, invasion of pest, weather conditions, and market prices are all huge factors in
harvesting produce (NRDC, 2012).
Anyone who has ever had a kitchen of their own knows about food waste and loss. The fridge can
be full of items that have started to stink and turn different colors. The forgotten
