Shedd Fasier Training Case Study
Training Shedd Frasier offers the bare minimum of training for their legal assistants. Timeslips is
a vital part of my job; the training process has been informal and mostly hands on. However, there
are so many functions to learn within Timeslips, hands on training with someone who is more
experienced for training purposes is a good way to learn the ins and outs verses having a manual

had to train. Although she is more than happy to help, she was not always available to answer many
of my questions. Timeslips offers helpful demonstrations done via YouTube and an online support

Build Your Own Computer Analysis
When it comes to the decision of whether to build or buy a computer, it all comes down to the
skill level of the buyer and the intent of what they will do with it. There are many pros and cons
involved in deciding whether to buy or build a computer. Creating a custom build or buying a
prebuilt computer can be decided by the budget, knowledge base, and willingness to put forth effort.
One of the hardest parts of building a PC is obtaining compatible parts. With an easy misread or
forgetting to read about what singular pieces of a computer will go together, you can waste a
component. For example, I could buy a motherboard and RAM but the RAM is not compatible with
the motherboard. I would be left with a useless part. Parts could also become damaged by the builder
while assembling the PC. Water damage, dirty hands, dust, plugging the ... Show more content on

A purchased computer had workers build the computers causing a rise in price for labor. When
buying a prebuilt computer, you also can be throwing away money on features that are not needed
for your purpose.
Creating your own computer can be a large task but can pay off later. For example if your hard
drive crashed, you can easily open the case and swap out the part. For a boughten PC only certain
models work.
Building your own computer has its problems like risking ruining parts and having to know about
how to build one. Size is also very important because cases for custom builds are typically large to
accommodate the diverse parts that could possibly be put in.
After you decide that building a PC is the better option for you, you have to acquire your parts.
Knowing what parts are compatible is extremely important. Two parts that you want may not work
together. Editing the BIOS and installing an OS is your next step of building a computer. Always
stay up to date with the different updates for drivers and operating system to avoid

SOLAR PONDS
1.INTRODUCTION The energy content of solar radiation can be used as light, heat and electricity.
This diversity means that solar power is an option different power systems important food
worldwide. In fact, interest in solar power systems has been increasing in recent years worldwide.
This interest to several factors, such as environmental awareness, effort should be to minimize the
dependence on non renewable fossil fuels countries and international agreements that require the
reduction of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere of the earth. Heat storage technologies, systems and
applications are studied in the field of solar energy. One way to collect and store solar energy by
using solar ponds can be used to provide thermal energy for various applications, such as process
and space heating, water desalination, refrigeration, drying and power generation. Thermal energy
storage has always been the most important energy storage option. Solar ponds are a classic
application of thermal energy storage and efficiency essentially depends on the storage capacity of
the fluid, Thermo physical properties of pond conditions and surroundings. Recently, attention has
been paid to friendly sources to the environment, sustainable energy, such as solar energy. In this
respect, solar ponds seem to be a potential for the application method. In this respect, solar ponds

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum s Art Collection
The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum s art collection blends history and culture to aesthetically
define a single individual: Isabella Stewart Gardner. From the Mosaic Floor: Medusa of the inner
courtyard, to The Coronation of Hebe (Paolo Veronese) on the ceiling of the third floor Veronese
Room, Gardner determined every inch of both the interior and exterior of the structure housing her
personal collection of masterpieces. This museum was specifically designed to resemble a 15th
century Venetian palazzo, inspired from the city that captured Gardner s heart and ultimate vision of
her legacy (Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum). Assisted by Renaissance revival architect, Willard T.
Sears, the palazzo like structure was realized in its full glory, albeit Renaissance ornamentation had
no logical place in early 20th century Boston, Massachusetts. However, Isabella Stewart Gardners
fascination with the Renaissance was not solely because the works and buildings were visually
pleasing. A palazzo, for a wealthy family, was a lasting symbol of status. Gardner s choice to create a
museum inspired by this Renaissance structure demonstrates how this Renaissance mindset can be
translated into her modern context when crafting her own legacy.
The exterior of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is drastically more modest than the interior. In
the same fashion as the traditional palazzos of the Renaissance, the masonry is smooth and
understated. The flat roof resembles that of the Palazzo
Examples Of Anti-Semitism In The Prioress s Tale
This cursed Jew hym hente Anti Semitism, Despotism, and recognition of the bereft of life in
Chaucer s The Prioress Tale
It is a third generation anti Semitism. First it was religious in nature. Today, the Jewish state is
attacked and that is the new anti Semitism. What they have in common is that in all versions, Jews
are seen as absolute evil. Manfred Gerstenfeld. Though Gerstenfeld is writing about the twenty first
century, his comments are just as applicable in the fourteenth. In Chaucer s Prioress s Tale, Chaucer
s Prioress describes the Jewish population in the tale as being menacing and savage. In this tale, we
seek to find the dominant discourse of the text, and him the late fourteenth century the cultural

Sadism and Sentimentality; Absorbing anti Semitism in Chaucer s Prioress. Chaucer Review, vol.
43, no. 2, Oct. 2008 Pg. 201)
In this passage, the author s ideology of contamination within the tale, not only relates to the boy
who was murdered, but also within the Jewish community and the act of baptism as a way to
wash away the dirt and grime of Jewish practices and beliefs. Given these points, it can be
concluded that Chaucer has written this Tale based on his cultural beliefs and biases. The setting
of the tale is in Asye, or modern day Turkey a medieval country with a sizeable Muslim population.
Could Chaucer s Prioress have been biased against Jews and presented this poem against their
community because of the fear that he and many others had of the Islamic invasion? Catholic
Clergy also resented the frequent prominence of Jews as government officials in Islamic regimes
both in Spain and abroad. (Delany, Chaucer s Prioress, the Jews, and the Muslims. Pg.

How To Raise Thermostat
When the central air conditioner breaks down, it s a good time to step back and think of ways to
save money on air conditioning costs in the future. People can come to forget that central air is a
convenience that was uncommon until the 1970s. Even in a hot climate, it s possible to reduce one
s reliance on central air. Implement some strategies to bring your utility bills down while not
sacrificing comfort. Gradually Raise the Thermostat Temperature If you already keep your
thermostat set in the high 70s or higher in the summertime, that s commendable. If you tend to set it
lower than that, start gradually raising it until you feel comfortable at a higher temperature. You
don t have to make the leap from 73 degrees to 78 degrees in one day.
Steven Pinker The Language Instinct Summary
Steven Pinker finds that language comes naturally in human capacity. In The Language Instinct, he
argues that even if thoughts may lead to form of speech, language and thoughts are not the same
thing. He explains that thoughts do not necessarily depend on words, as one would not always be
able to find specific words that exactly represent what one thinks. Countless amounts of thoughts can
be created from a single mind, which would seem to be more complicated than a complete sentence,
but Pinker is not focusing on the limitlessness of the mind, but the specific aspect of imagery
without confusion. A sentence can provide a sense of time, action, and meaning generated from the
source of thoughts. However, Pinker mentions how sometimes a whole

Comparison on both novels:
The Castle of Otranto Northanger Abbey The Castle of Otranto was written in 1764, by Horace
Walpole. This novel is a Gothic novel, and I will be writing an essay about this novel to show,
and explain how Gothic it is. I will be picking a specific character to explain and compare to
another book to show how both are Gothic, but in their own way. This essay will seek and unfold
the differences of Manfred in Otranto, and General Tilney in Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen.

In this novel Otranto , Manfred has a son that gets killed and no one knows how or why. His son
is to be married to Isabella, but things go a different direction when she finds out that Manfred
wants to marry her now. When Manfred pursues Isabella in a sexually way, his demand for a
divorce from his wife Hippolita seems unreal, due to the incestuous nature of both relationships.
Manfred s logic seems to be lost and his justification, and his reasoning for his actions makes very
little sense. What makes this Gothic is, this is a dark way of living, and how evil it is to live this
way. From the novel Northanger Abbey , General Tilney is accurately, if understandingly,
described by Mrs. Morland as a strange man (Austen 29). In this story there is a character named
Catherine Morland who is a tom boy, that is a girl that is becoming a woman. As she is becoming
a woman, she is pulled between both boys and playing sports, like Cricket. Her mother and father
send her off to an upper class resort to meet young men. There she encounters a man named Henry
and she falls in love with him. General Tilney is a man who runs a very strict household, despite
his actions to appear laid back to Catherine. General Tilney is a stickler for people being on time. He
is always getting angry at people for disrupting his schedule or his sense of integrity and discipline.
General Tilney is a jerk to his kids, and is known for having things done his own way, down
