Patty Mcvay Paraprofessional Analysis
Patty McVay stated seven roles paraprofessionals play in a classroom which include: leading small
groups designed by the teachers, gathering materials, providing assistance for personal care and
other physical needs, assisting students to complete directions given by the teacher, facilitating
interactions between students, adapting lessons under the teacher s guidance and executing other,
often unseen, but very important tasks for the classroom community (McVay, 1998). If
paraprofessionals are able to lead small groups of students, teachers are able to address other
students and work on a lesson that a faster or slower pace dependent upon the level of the group.
The students are able to ask more questions, and feel more confident in asking
Is Customer a King of the Market
Is consumer really the king In India?

||||
Yes. counsumer is king in india. because consumer know what to buy what not to buy. they are
educated. and laws also give protection to customer .consumer protection act is example. |
|

As per my counterview. Consumers are realy not consumers. Consumers bear an invisible tag of
being KINGS . They actually are not. In sense its just to attract the consumers misguide them by a
feel that they are valuable to the market. Consumers is just an ATM to debit cash into the sellers
accounts. And make profits to the companies. As richers are linged in market. But what about
middle class poor class. Kings never negotiate but customer has to if they see the prices of products

Yes the consumer is the king of the market because the success of the business is totally depend on
the consumer. As we all known the marketing starts with the consumer needs and ends with the
fulfillment of the needs of the consumer. |
|

||||
No, I don t think that the consumers are really the king. According to my point of view actually
only those consumers are king who have huge amount to spend or you cn sy that who have more
time n money to waste. A local consumer cn never be the king. Here is an expl: like if a person
purchase a refrigerator. After some days he/she noticed that the refrigerator is not the 1st one it is a
second hand machine n also not working properly. Then the person goes to that stor from where he
/she purchased it. Guess what! the stor man refuged to take that machine back, and instid of taking
back he is blaming the customer.

After that the person goes to the company of that machine. Same thing happens with him/her at that
place. At last after no option is avilable he/she goes to the consumer court and after all complains
and enquiries the store man found guilty. Now the high amount of 20, 000 rs goes into the consumer
court
Scottsboro Boys Trial
Shoot all the bluejays you want, if you can hit em, but remember it s a sin to kill a mockingbird
(Lee, 98). Ever since its publication, Harper Lee s novel has been read by millions worldwide. Its
perspectives on racism and empathy have been reviewed, criticized, and analyzed by every
demographic. But there is the ever present question: what, in essence, does Harper Lee mean when
she declares it a sin to kill a mockingbird? Though she reveals that it is a sin because they are
innocent, what is she truly implying? Is she discussing the events of Tom Robinson s fictional trial,
or something deeper? However one visions it, it is clear the story would not have developed and
lived up to its glory without many of its characters and events that... Show more content on

The Scottsboro Boys was a nationally controversial case; and it all began with nine African
American men and two white women aboard a train. The train ride began on March 25, 1931. A
fight erupted between the African American men and the white men on board the train, and the
African American men won and forced the white men off. After news of the fight spread to Paint
Rock, Alabama, all able men with weapons waited for the train to arrive for its mortar stop.
When the train pulled in, a racial confrontation immediately ensued. In the midst of it all, two
women, Victoria Price and Ruby Bates, emerged from a train car and claimed they had been
raped by the nine African American men that had been on the train. Only the verbal confirmation
from one of the white women that they had been raped was enough to send the public into a
frenzy. The men of Paint Rock surrounded the African American boys and forced them to line up
against a wall. Then they aggressively made them stand and wait for a bus to take them to
Scottsboro. The Scottsboro Boys were surrounded by the aggressive public as soon as they were
put in the Scottsboro jail. The sheriff had to go out and declare that violence towards the prisoners
would result in violence towards the instigator. While Atticus Finch did not condone violence, this is
similar to the To Kill A Mockingbird jail scene. Additionally, Victoria Price, one of the accusers, had
traits similar to those of Mayella Ewell. When the trials actually began, she would be extremely
evasive on the witness stand, and claim she did not know what would seem to be rather obvious
information. Also, her manner indicated she was uneducated, and like Mayella, and she would
frequently burst out in unintelligible streams of sentences. She was tough as nails, with foul
language, and improper clothes. She hardly fit the stereotype of the young Southern
The World According To Bensenhaver
In the book Garp is a writer and throughout the whole book you see bits and pieces of Garp s work.
A long piece was called The World According To Bensenhaver which was a very crazy story to say
the least. There was kidnappings, knives, blood, rape, so much happened in only a few pages.
Garp was very proud of the book he wrote and was excited for it to be published. Everyone around
him thoughtotherwise but that didn t stop Garp from wanting his work published.

The world according to Bensenhaver was a very interesting story. At first I did not quite
understand that it was a story Garp had written and he was going to have soon after published. I
also did not quite like the story personally. I liked a few bits and pieces but nothing reached out to
me to keep my attention. You can tell whoever wrote this in this case Garp was very sad and
mentally disturbed in a way. Of course us knowing his backstory and all about the accident and
how he had lost a child. You can clearly tell this was an outlet of his emotions or he was just that
mentally disturbed to write such a story. It was supposed to relate back to his accident involving his
family and in some ways it has some similarities but I do not understand why Helen had such a
problem with Garp writing this story and not reading it. Besides it being gruesome and vulgar it did
not really relate to the accident as much as I assume she thought it ... Show more content on

It wasn t badly written, I just didn t like how so much happened in such a small amount of time.
Everything was so dramatic and nothing in the story was small or relatively normal. It was too
dramatic for me personally. I would not go to a bookstore and pick it up and buy the book but
that is just me. I know people who like books who have a lot going on and have tons of different
conflicts at once. There was nothing I specifically did not like about the story, it just was not for
The Most Enjoyable Activity For Children
Taylor Putnam
Mr. Fiorelli
Honors Creative Writing
25 November 2014
For centuries, the most enjoyable activity for children to partake in is playing outside. Playing
outside develops fundamental social skills, engages all five senses, stimulates creativity and
imagination, and encourages cooperative play with others. Throughout the years, outside play has
become increasingly competitive. Now, every child is encouraged to sign up for competitive sports
teams as soon as they start going to school. Parents encourage these teams now instead of sending
their child into the backyard to explore on their own. In the aspect of staying healthy, this can be
good but can be dangerous farther down the road in terms of injuries. Today, injuries are ... Show

exercise is the most important thing a person can do to keep their body healthy. Physical fitness

Memoir Saying Farewell To A Faithful Pal Analysis
Animals in our Human World

Internal and external forces can make a big difference in our lives. If having a friend or someone
who you can rely on is nearby, then it ll be fun. Every new experience can make a person change;
sometimes the change is positive, and other times it is negative. Either way, there is no avoiding
change. Animals are helpful, hardworking, and unique. In Memoir, Saying Farewell to a Faithful Pal
by John Grogan describes the time their pet dog was helpful. The quote in the story that their dog is
helpful to them is When i bought my wife home from the doctor after a miscarriage, that wild
beast gently rested his blocky head in her lap and just whimpered (Grogan, pg 155, pp 11). The
quotes from the story prove that their dog is trying to comfort the owner because dogs sometimes
can smell someone s emotion or they know if their owner is sad. This animal impact change the
person in the story because comforting someone is helpful to them and can make them feel happy.

Hand Hygiene For The Health And Mortality Of Their Patients
Hand decontamination is the use of hand wash or alcohol rub that reduces the number of bacteria on
the hands. Hand decontamination is also referred to as hand hygiene . Hand Hygiene is an integral
part of nursing care, as effectively decontaminating hands significantly reduces the risk of pathogens
being transferred from one surface to another, or from person to person (NICE, 2014). This means,
that through practicing good hand hygiene, nurses can actively reduce the incidences of preventable
healthcare associated infections, therefore improving the health and mortality of their patients.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE, 2012) guidelines state that
misconceptions about hand hygiene in relation to infection control are still being reported and that
effective hand decontamination is still not collectively practiced, despite a vast improvement in
recent years. This means that although many execute good practice, there are still healthcare
workers who are putting patients at risk by not following the recommended procedure.
NICE (NICE, 2012) guidelines for prevention and control of healthcare associated infections also
state that hands must be sanitised at the point immediately before any direct contact with patients,
immediately after the episode of care, immediately after exposure to bodily fluids, immediately after
any contact with patient s surroundings that could potentially result in contamination and
immediately after the removal of gloves,
Essay about Cathedral by Raymond Carver
Cathedral by Raymond Carver

In Raymond Carver?s ?Cathedral?, the conventional ideas often associated with blindness and sight
are challenged. By juxtaposing his two male characters, Carver is able to effectively explore sight
and its seemingly simplistic relationship with learning and knowledge. As well, he addresses the
barriers imposed by the human tendency to rely on vision as the sole means of experiencing the
world.

At the beginning of the story, the narrator?s perception on blind people as individuals who ?moved
slowly and never laughed? reflect not only his but also the views generally shared by society (720).
The uneasiness experienced by the narrator at the prospect of ?[a] blind man in [his] house? is a ...

he is. As the night wears on the narrator challenges Robert?s blindness in all sorts of ways?drinking,
smoking cigarettes dope, and turning on the TV?which leads to their drawing of the cathedral and
the narrator?s ?awakening.?

Carver develops the two main characters in his story to be completely contrasted to each other, in
these characters not only does sight and blindness become conflicted with each other but also does
the issue of knowledge. Carver uses the narrator to represent an individual who sees but cannot
?see? and Robert as one who can ?see? but lacks the ability to see. Through the interaction between
them, Carver address societies misconception of vision and its connection with knowledge. He
brings to the foreground the idea of sight being the handicap rather then blindness. This is
illustrated through the narrator?s inability to understand his wife and her ?poems? and Roberts
ability to do so. Robert?s attitude of ?learning never ends? and his ability to fearlessly experience
new things such as ?dope? and gain new knowledge regardless of his ?disability? shows that he is
not the one that is disabled (727). Rather it is the hesitance of the narrator that is the handicap and
barrier that initially lies between them.

Our vision is perceived to be our most trusted sense, as the old saying goes ?seeing is believing? thus

taking multiple Spanish classes, I know it can be difficult to learn a new language later in life and
wish I had started to learn it earlier as a child. The younger a learner is when they begin to be
taught a new language, the easier it is for them to understand and remember. This is simply because
the younger a child is, the better they are at mimicking new sounds and pronunciation, making it
easier to learn new words. (Catherine Ford. Children should start learning languages at three, The
