Al Ghazali was educated in Tus, Persia, at the Nishapur School as well as at the Nizamayyah
School in Baghdad. Here, he excelled in Islamic sciences. In 1095, Al Ghazali experienced a
personal crisis and had many questions about ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These allow Sufi members to experience a deeper connection to Allahs divine light through acts of
meditation, deep thought and personal prayer to Allah. The proof of this claim is evident throughout
Al Ghazali s work the Deliverance from Error , an autobiography written by Ghazali shortly before
his death in which he discovers the value of mystical experiences within Sufism.
Al Ghazali continues to have a strong influence over the Islamic faith today. His judgements are still
widely commented upon, for example throughout Fiqh council meetings.
Another example of his continuing influence is through his inspiration of not only Islamic, but also
Western philosophical schools. The opening of Montessori schools by Thomas Aquinas, which
focus on self directed activity through learning show that people from all over the world have taken
to Al Ghazali s approaches and acted upon them to fulfil the lives of others.
Many different works and writings by Al Ghazali are still readily available in a range of different
languages as well as countries. This shows that the knowledge of Al Ghazali has impacted upon the
religious tradition of Islam and is useful in still fulfilling and educating practising Muslims
throughout the world today. His works have continuing relevance throughout the world and continue
to teach positivism in being a good Muslim, particularly to Sunni and Sufi members.
The poetry of Langston Hughes, the poet laureate of Harlem, is an effective commentary on the
condition of blacks in America during the 20th Century. Hughes places particular emphasis on
Harlem, a black area in New York that became a destination of many hopeful blacks in the first half
of the 1900 s. In much of Hughes poetry, a theme that runs throughout is that of a dream deferred.
The recurrence of a dream deferred in several Hughes poems paints a clear picture of the
disappointment and dismay that blacks in America faced in Harlem. Furthermore, as each poem
develops, so does the feeling behind a dream deferred, growing more serious and even angry with
each new ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When blacks arrived in Harlem, though, their dream was deferred; instead of the opportunities
they had envisioned, they were faced with overcrowding, exploitation, and poverty. At the
beginning of Harlem, the mood that accompanies a dream deferred is a questioning one that
begins a search for definition. This mood, which will develop as each poem progresses, induces
the reader to reflect upon the meaning of a dream deferred, preparing them for its development.
The poem continues, listing the possible fates of a dream that never becomes reality. It suggests
that maybe the dream will dry up / like a raisin in the sun, withering up and disappearing. Maybe
it will stink like rotten meat, becoming a sickening reminder of what will never be. Perhaps the
dream will crust and sugar over; Hughes seems to be saying here that the dream deferred might
be covered up by society with a veil of normalcy. The most powerful line in Harlem, though, is the
last line: Or does it explode? This line, in italics for emphasis, makes obvious the severity of a
postponed dream, especially the dream of the blacks in Harlem. For a people who have been
oppressed for centuries, the denial of yet another dream is not taken lightly. With the final line,
Hughes seems to be hinting at a revolution, alluding to the idea that
Judaism In America
In America, people of a religious background tend to follow one of the five major religions:
Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism. Although, numerous people are Jewish I
have never received the privilege to encounter someone who s religion is Judaism. My question is
if Judaism is listed as one of most popular religions in America, why have I not had the fortuity to
meet a religious Jew? I ve met others whom are Christian, Catholic, Jehovah s Witness, and
Muslim, so to me Jews are a minority. I decided to engage in Sabbath so that I become more
educated about Jewish beliefs, rituals, and culture. Being that I have only attended Christian worship
services I figured participating in a Shabbat service would be a new and interesting.... Show more

The lay people then passed out challah, which is the Jewish Sabbath and holiday bread, and a
blessing of the challah took place. The prayer read Blessed are you, Lord our God, King of the
universe, who brings forth bread from the earth (BBC, 2009). While we enjoyed the challah the
chazzan and lay people thanked my friend and I for joining their service and most of all being
respectful of their beliefs and rituals. Additionally, they allowed us to ask questions. This is how I
was able to discover some issues are in regard to Judaism based off of their perspective. One of the
lay people explained that the holocaust still has eternal damage on Jewish people and their culture.
With Hitler invading Nazi Germany and separating Jews from one another and others it caused a
split in the religion. As reported by Maryles, a writer for Jewish Press, Rabbi Weil declared a
holocaust causes more Jews to be lost from Judaism than the actual holocaust... the great boon to
Jews in America is its biggest bane . Meaning what s beneficial for one person is a burden to
someone else. Another conflict is intermarrying which means when people of various races or
religion become connected by marriage. Spouses following different religious paths means they
have opposite beliefs which can create afflicting ideals within the marriage. Rabbi Weil also
claims, The American ideal of freedom and our widespread acceptance is in fact the double edged
sword that is both helping us and skewering us... the freedom this country offers allows us to shed
any semblance of our Judaism . An additional issue is the religious Jewish youth. A different lay
person from the Shabbat service said that the schools are not teaching the Torah the same way it
once was taught. Mentioned by Rabbi Zecharya Greenwald, students are being told that if they do
not carry themselves a certain way

As for Bar code
The most popular technology for identify cargo information and Bar coding has now become an
indispensable digital tool to enhance efficiency and accuracy in logistics management.
For instance, all the UPS courier delivery also had the hand help barcode scanner to help receive
courier. They can use barcode to identify all the detail and it provides lots of information, e.g.
airway bill number and customer information. The system is based on UPS Trackpad technology and
that will improve commutation links and ensure the package tracking and reliability that customers
expect from the world s largest delivery company.
The RFID had the major component which is an Automatic Transponder. This is located on the
object to be identified and navigate the location from the reader.
First advancements in RFID technology coupled with decreasing costs have allowed RFID to gain
greater prominence and therefore a higher level of adoption. The following are examples of the
unique capabilities offered by RFID:
Orientation independence RF tags do not require line of sight as in the case of barcodes. This
eliminates some of the additional steps required to orient the object toward the scanner
Information capabilities Different tag types have a broad range of options for data content and
read write capabilities. The communication of this data could be
Counterculture Movement In Easy Rider
In the mid 20th century intriguing drama directed by Dennis Hopper, Easy Rider, we were drawn
back to 1969 to shed light on the influences of drugs, sex, and culture as the characters began to
question the American system in this counterculture movement. The counterculture movement
provoked an alternative lifestyle that came about during the Vietnam War. The tensions following
the protests of human inequalities embodying racial segregation and the frustration faced with the
draft system resulted in not only the Civil Rights Movement, but the counterculture movement as
well. This film, Easy Rider, helped to formulate and to transition over to the New Hollywoodera, or
also referred to as the American New Wave. With the experimentation of new drugs such as cocaine
and marijuana, people yearned to grasp a fresh perspective on life through the usage of these
substances. These hippies, especially the characters throughout the film, Billy and Wyatt, wanted to
acquire different forms of these perceptions so they were not viewed as inadequate within society.
The essence embodied throughout the film exhibits Billy and Wyatt aspiring to find freedom
through Hopper s usage of stylistic forms, through film editingand cinematography. These stylistic
forms do not work in isolation, but rather work together to create the underlying message in the quest
to find themselves. Even from the very start of the film, formalist elements are exemplified
throughout the camera movement,
Modern Philosophy Of The Modern World And The External World
Lauren Estes
Modern Philosophy
Prof. Corsa As humans, I do not think we know as much as we think we know. Perhaps this is the
reason why in matters of Philosophical research some claim to have discovered the truth, while
others declare that finding it is an impossibility, and other are still seeking it (SE Handout 31). The
word truth in this quote is ambiguous. I believe that we will spend the rest of eternity seeking the
truth. The truth can mean many things to many different people. What is true for you may not be
true for me. Many of the modern philosophers dance around the question, What is real and what is
not? Although there are many arguments for and against the internal world and the external world, I
tend to lead towards the skeptics point of view. I do this on the simple notion that many of the
skeptics arguments are hard to refute. Much like Sextus Empiricus, I argue that we cannot know
anything with absolute certainty about the external world. Those who say that Sceptic deny
appearances seem to me to be ignorant of what we say (SE Handout 38). Sextus Empricus does not
deny appearances, he just is aware that we might not know for certain anything about the external
world. Sextus Empiricus infers, honey appears to use to have a sweetening quality. This much we
can concede, because it affects us with a sensation of sweetness. The question, however, is whether
it is sweet in an absolute sense (SE Handout 38). Skeptics are not crazy humans that simply
Women s Reproductive Rights 1800s
Women across the U.S. were fighting for reproductive rights. The fight was intense due to women
not being able to do decisions for themselves. Since the beginning of civilization, women were
expected to produce children from marriage to menopause, in a constant battle to birth more
children than died in utero, in infancy, or of childhood disease. The birth and mortality rates were
so high that women had to have a stop to it. American white women were considered to be the ones
having the most children. In 1800 American women were bearing an average of 7.04 children; 5.21
in 1860; and 3.56 in 1900. During this time the rates were so high because the typical women of the
household was supposed to be the one at home cleaning, cooking, taking
A Study Of A Problem Domain Essay
System Analysis is the study of a problem domain to recommend improvements and specify the
business requirements and priorities for the solution. It involves the analyzing and understanding a
problem, then identifying alternative solutions, choosing the best course of action and then
designing the chosen solution. It involves determining how existing systems work and the
problems associated with existing systems. It is worthy to note that before a new system can be
designed, it is necessary to study the system that is to be improved upon or replaced, if there is
any. 3.1 THE EXISTING SYSTEM 3.1.1 REVIEW OF THEEXISTING SYSTEM Timetabling is
the whole process concerned with making a timetable having events arranged according to a time
when they take place which must be subject to the timing constraints of each entity placed in the
table. University timetabling in this context refers to the rigorous task educational center staff in a
Federal University Lokoja undergo to draw up timetables that satisfies various courses that should
compulsorily be inherent in the final timetable solution. These courses are usually taught by varied
lecturers in different departments who may also wish to specify some timing constraints on their
courses. Given all the courses and course details, the educational center staff in Federal University
Lokoja is charged with the responsibility of creating a near optimal timetable which would serve as
a guide for academic activities in the university.
The Libyan Islamic Fighting Group
The Libyan Islamic Fighting Group was formed in the early 1990s and officially announced its
existence in 1995 (LIFG n.d. para. 4). The Libyan Islamic Fighting Group originally formed in
Afghanistan and then relocated to Libya where its goal was to overthrow Muammar Gaddafi who
was the president of Libya at the time and to restore the regime with a hard line Islamic state. The
Libyan Islamic Fighting Group for years has worked in secrecy in Libya. At the time they only had
a few hundred members. Then in 1995, the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group launched a low level
insurgency.

Diamonds Research Papers
Diamonds are the ultimate gemstone, with few weaknesses and numerous strengths. Diamonds are
known for being the hardest substance on earth, but few know diamond is four times harder than the
next hardest natural mineral. One of the diamonds only flaws are its cleavage. A skilled diamond
jeweler can prevent a diamondfrom being split by positioning it to be struck at the perfect
placement. Diamonds have a wide color range, high refraction, low reactivity to chemicals, and
extreme hardness and durability. Also, the diamond is Aprils birthstone. Diamonds are typically
described as cut, clarity, color, and carat. Cut refers to the shape of the stone and the quality. The
cube and the octahedron are normal forms for the diamond to be in. The clarity of a diamond is
the presence of its impurities, internal fractures, inclusions and the overall cleanliness in the
mineral. Its color, tends to be pale yellow, brown, grey, white, blue, black, reddish, greenish, and
colorless. Strongly colored diamonds are much more valuable. Colored diamonds are rare, but that
just makes the price go up. A carat is one fifth of a gram. Diamonds that... Show more content on

Before anyone can actually start mining, prospectors have to locate the diamonds first. Once the
pipes are found, huge amounts of soil is extracted. In order to make the process more efficient, the
rocks and the soil are moved to a different location to begin examination. At that location the ore is
processed and the rough diamonds are extracted. Rough stones are then sorted into different
categories, there they are sold, cut, polished, and commercialized. Another mining method is called
Alluvial Mining. This type of mining is usually in riverbanks or beaches. It involves the building of
walls and the diversion of rivers. Once the water gets emptied, bulldozers exploit the ground. When
the diamond rich soil is reached, it gets extracted from the ground and transported to a special
screening
