PAYMENT PLANS
We offer various payment plans:

1. Pay in Full Upfront

Payment in full of the total programme fee is due after registration.

2. Payment Per Semester

The per semester cost will depend on the number of credits studied each semester.
You are advised to double-check your programme specification PDF. Students on part-time,
online Master’s degree programmes typically complete 30 credits per semester.

30 credits per semester equates to:-

• £1580 for tier 1 programmes *
• £1730 for tier 2 programmes *
• £1940 for tier 3 programmes *

There are 3 semesters per academic year.

• Semester A runs from September to January
• Semester B runs from January to May
• Semester C runs from May to September

3. Pay in Instalments
You can arrange an instalment plan every semester if you have a valid debit or credit card.

A payment plan can be set up via the payment portal.

You may choose to pay for the total number of credits you are studying each semester in:
a. Two monthly instalments (75% and 25% of the semester’s fee)
b. Three monthly instalments (50%, 25% and 25% of the semester’s fee)
c. Four equal monthly instalments (25% of the semester’s fee each)

*In an effort to keep semester instalments consistent, round figures, note that the final instalment will be
adjusted slightly. This will result in a final payment of £30 less on tier 1 programmes, and £15 more on tier
2 and 3 programmes.
Additional Expenses

The University tries to keep any additional costs to a minimum. For some programmes
there may be additional costs for online invigilation of tests, reading materials or specialist
equipment. Please check the About Your Course factsheet included with your offer of
admission letter for further details.

Fee Reductions

UH Alumni Discount: Alumni who have completed a full undergraduate programme at

UH are entitled to a 20% discount off the full tuition fee, if they are self-funding (i.e., not
sponsored by a company). This can only be used once for a postgraduate programme after the
initial Bachelors. Please provide your UH student ID in your application so that your eligibility
can be confirmed.

UH Staff: Staff at UH employed with one year’s continuous service by the University are
entitled to a 50% waiver of fees for part-time programmes. This is not automatically granted
and staff should discuss their eligibility and the process to be followed with their line manager.

UK Partners Staff: Staff of the University’s wholly owned subsidiary companies and/or
UK Partner Organisations are entitled to a 50% fee remission.

Merit Scholarships: At times, we are able to offer a small reduction in tuition to strong
applicants based on merit. Applicants must first gain admission onto their programme of
choice through the standard application process before discussing these possibilities
with their student success consultant.

Please note that the automated statement of fees received each semester always refers to
standard, full tuition and will not take into account any of the above reductions in fees. Once
you have had a reduction confirmed in writing, you may simply proceed to make payments at
the reduced rate and are free to request an updated statement of your account from the
finance team at any time.
Payment Methods
We offer various payment method options - fees can be paid online, by credit card or
debit card or using Flywire for international payments.

Sponsorship
If your employer is willing to sponsor all or part of your studies, they should complete the
sponsorship form and email it to [email protected]. Note that sponsors typically
pay per academic year.

Refund Policy
Students who choose to withdraw, suspend or defer their studies must formally notify the
University and will be liable for tuition fees as per this notification date. The full refund and
compensation policy is available here.
