Introduction to Chemotherapeutic Agents, Anti-Infective Agents, Antiseptics, Sulphonamides, Β-Lactam Antibiotics
etc)

Fridays 3 – 5pm Pharm & Tox


Basic Principles of Chemotherapy. Anti-bacterials - β-lactam antibiotics, sulphonamides and
other antimicrobial interfering with folate synthesis. Broad-spectrum antibiotics, protein synthesis
inhibitors, quinolones and miscellaneous antibacterial agents. Anti-fungal Drugs.
