Elective Week Breakdown- Essential Skills for Every Physician
Day 1- History, focused PE- discussion of fasting guidelines and preoperative optimization
Day 2- Skills- focus on mask ventilation primarily, +/- intubation and PIV insertion
Day 3- Airway- focus on airway exam, MV, intubation/LMA placement
Day 4- Pain Management- assessing and managing pain
