3. insert and format text and images; and
4. implement page breaks for optimal document layout.
Day 2 1. Determine the purpose of a table of contents;
2. create headings and subheadings in a document; and
3. generate an auto table of contents in MS Word.

Explore  Class Engagement Activity : “Word Hunt”
- The teacher will write or display the word “MS Word” and ask: “What do
you think we can do with MS Word?”
- Students will brainstorm and list real-life uses of MS Word (e.g., writing
essays, creating posters, making reports, printing certificates).
- The teacher will connect the students’ responses to the idea of
productivity software, highlighting how word processing tools are used in
1 school, business, and daily life.
Firm-up  Lecture Discussion with Visual Demonstration on:
- What is Productivity Software? (definition and examples)
- MS Word Interface Overview
- How to insert and format text and images
- How and when to use Page Breaks for better document structure
Deepen  Student’s Activity: Multiple Choice and Identification (Refer to Part IV.)
- The students will answer their seatwork #1.
Explore  Recall of the previous discussion on the page break
- The student will summarize the topics that we discussed about the
MS word interface and page break
