Subject: Conduct of LAC Session on Integrated Topics Promoting Peace and DepEd Core Values

In support of the Department of Education’s thrust to develop learners who embody the core values of
Makadiyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, and Makabansa, and to promote peace education in all learning
areas, a series of Learning Action Cell (LAC) sessions was conducted at Capudlosan Elementary
School from August to March.

These sessions were designed to capacitate teachers in integrating peace-building concepts and DepEd
core values in their lesson planning and delivery. The initiative aimed to foster a value-laden,
inclusive, and peaceful learning environment.

Highlights of the Activities:


1. Orientation Session on the integration of Peace Education and DepEd Core Values.
2. Workshop on identifying thematic entry points for values and peace in subject areas.
3. Collaborative Lesson Planning among grade-level teachers.
4. Implementation of integrated lessons in classrooms.
5. Sharing of best practices and reflection on lesson try-outs.
6. Evaluation of the effectiveness and impact of the integrated lessons.

We commend all teachers for their active participation and dedication in promoting peace and values-
driven education. Attached are the summary results of the post-activity evaluation.
Let us continue to embody and cultivate a culture of peace and values within and beyond the school
walls.
