Machines
1. Plasma cutting machine:
Plasma cutters work by sending an electric arc through a gas that is passing
through a constricted opening. The gas can be shop air, nitrogen, argon, oxygen. etc.
This elevates the temperature of the gas to the point that it enters a 4th state of matter.
2. CNC Bending Machine:
A CNC bending machine uses a computer to control a hydraulic system to bend metal sheets.
CNC machines automate the bending process by using a computer to control the machinerand
hydraulic system to shape the component. This way, the components are shaped with more
consistent bends and exact.
3. ITMS Machine(Information Technology Management System):
ITMS have a live person on the other side of the screen, so by using electronic
signatures and ID verification they can perform pretty much any service needed, including:
Giving cash withdrawals. Accepting cash deposits and checks. Paying down loans.
4. Welding Machines and Cells:
Robotic and automated welding machines that provide precision welding for metals,
often used in automotive and heavy equipment industries. Welding machines are devices
used in projection and upset butt welding processes, typically equipped with a 50 kVA
transformer and a projection load of 450 kgcm^-2.
5. Lathe machine:
A lathe machine is a versatile machining tool used to rotate a workpiece against a
cutting tool to perform various operations such as turning, facing, threading, and more. Lathe
machines are versatile and indispensable tools in the world of machining and metalworking.
6. Semi-Electric Stacker:
This is a semi-electric stacker, a material handling equipment used to lift and stack pallets
or goods vertically on racks. It enables efficient use of warehouse space by stacking items
high up, maximizing storage capacity. These stackers are commonly used in warehouses,
retail stores, and manufacturing facilities.
Conclusion
Industrial visit helps to mix theoretical knowledge with practical knowledge in a good
way. Hence, Industrial realities are opened to the students through industrial visits. Industrial
visit is considered to be the most tactical method of teaching. Observing how industries
operate allows students and professionals to grasp industry-specific practices, standards, and
regulations. It offers insights into the functioning of various departments within an
organization, such as production, quality control, logistics, and marketing.
