In recent years, the internet is becoming increasingly popular.
People hold different opinions about it. In my opinion, everything in
this universe has positive and negative sides, depending on each
person’s perspective. To clarify the pros and cons of the internet, in
the following essay, I will give my own perspective to analyze in
detail it’s bad and good points.
On the one hand, we can’t deny that the internet brings people lots
of benefits. First and foremost, information is the most important
advantage that the internet brings. The internet is a fact knowledge
treasure. Instead of spending hours going to specific places,
nowadays people can find information or contact others anywhere,
even in seconds, right at home via the internet. Besides, when
today’s modern life has a lot of pressures, the internet is a great
way to help us relieve stress after working or studying hours
because it can make us feel comfortable, relaxed and happy. People
can surf Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok… The internet is not only helps
us entertain, but also brings us many choices in work, lots of
opportunities to develop ourselves, improve soft skills, expand
knowledge as well as enhance the quality of life. Additionally, the
internet helps people deal with work or study easily and quickly.
Thereby minimizing errors and improving study or work efficiency. It
can be seen that the internet is actually very beneficial in many
ways.
On the other hand, we must also admit that the internet also has
various negative aspect. In the first place, the internet is the main
culprit makes students distracted from studying because spending
too much time on it. Many students can’t spend time on homework,
but they can spend time on watching movies or chatting with their
friends. Recently, according to scientific research, people spend too
much time on it, can be harmful to health because artificial light
emitted from electronic devices can cause nearsightedness,
insomnia, even cancer. Furthermore, the internet will negatively
affect people’s soft skills because it limits their ability to
communicate face-to-face.
In conclusion, all of the things I mentioned above are just my own
opinions on this matter. Personally, I think each person will have a
different assessment of the problem and it will affect each person
differently, depending on the particular case. But from my point of
view, I firmly believe that the advantages of the internet far
outweigh the disadvantages. Everyone should have the most
overview about this issue.

many opportunities to develop soft skills, it limits their ability to
communicate face-to-face. It can be proved that online learning also
has lots of limitations.
In conclusion, all of the things I mentioned above are just my own
opinion on this matter. Personally, I think that each person will have

view, I firmly believe that the disadvantages far outweigh the
advantages. People should have further consideration on this issue.

person’s perspective. Some people think that cell phones should be
banned in elementary schools/schools. Personally, I partly agree
with this idea because of the following reasons
On the one hand, we must admit that cell phones has various
negative aspects. In the first place, cell phones is the main culprit
makes students distracted from studying because they spend too
much time on it. According to recent scientific research, people
spending too much time on it can be harmful to people’s health
because artificial light emitted from cell phones can cause
nearsightedness, insomnia, even cancer. So currently, there are
many children with early nearsightedness. Besides, when using cell
phones, it will affect people’s soft skills because it limits their ability
to communicate face-to-face. Furthermore, cell phones can make
distance between students and teachers in school. It can be seen
that cell phones has many drawbacks.
On the other hand, we can’t also deny that cell phones also brings
students some benefits. When today’s modern life has lots of
pressures, cell phones is a great device to help students relieve
stress after tiring hours of studying because it can make their feel
happy and relaxed. Moreover, if students know efficient using way, it
will provide useful information in studying. It can be proved that cell
phones also has some benefits.
