Symptom
You are going to use SAP S/4HANA, on-premise edition 1809 or higher. This note collects information about restrictions in
these releases that are related to the amount field length extension.

Reason and Prerequisites
In SAP S/4HANA, the maximum length of amount fields has been extended to 23 digits including 2 decimals.
These generic restrictions apply only when you have activated the provided amount field length extension:
