Position Overview: As an Associate Software Development Engineer (ASDE), you will be part of a high-
performing technology team focused on designing, developing, and deploying scalable products that power
the OYO ecosystem.
This role is ideal for passionate developers who are eager to learn, solve real-world problems, and make an
impact in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and
cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that aligns with OYO’s vision of providing the best
customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust, and high-performing applications and services.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to implement new features and improve existing
systems.
• Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of code quality.
• Learn and apply the latest tools, technologies, and engineering practices to enhance product
capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Programming Skills: Strong knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, Python, C++, or
similar).
• Understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
• Familiarity with Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and APIs.
• Basic knowledge of Databases (SQL/NoSQL) and version control (Git).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an eagerness to learn.
Preferred Skills:
• Exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with Microservices Architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and optimized code.
