FOR THE ATTENTION OF ALL CANDIDATES

Admission Procedure:
a) The provisionally selected candidates shall have to be present in the
concerned Department/Centre of Studies for counselling/verification of
documents.
b) The merit of the Candidates securing the same score in DUPGET 2023 shall
be determined on the basis of Marks secured in the BA/ B.Sc./ B.Com. OR
Class 12th/10th Examinations.
c) The Statutory Reservation Policy of the Government of Assam has been
followed in the preparation of the Merit List. Besides, the University also
follows its own Reservation and Relaxation Rules as approved by the
Academic Council.
d) The Admission and other Fees shall be as per the approved Fee Structure of the
University.
e) The candidates provisionally selected for Admission (under any category)
shall have to bring the following documents on the date of admission:
i) Print copy of the Online Application submitted along with the
photocopies of all relevant testimonials.
ii) DUPGET 2023 Score Card.
iii) Domicile Certificate/ Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of
Assam for claiming the fee waiver benefit. ; ·
iv) Undertaking on “Provisional Admission” (Format of undertaking is available in
the University Website)
v) Gap Certificate wherever applicable in the form of Affidavit.
vi) All relevant documents in original for producing before the Admission
Committee.
vii) The Admission fee, Course Fee etc (as per the Fee Structure for the
session 2023-2024 issued by the Registrar, D.U vide no:
DU/RG/G.01.01/2023/6027, dated 18.07.2023)
The Admission Fee, Course Fee, etc. (wherever applicable) is to be paid
by the candidates at the time of admission through online mode by using Debit
Card/ Credit Card or Internet Banking.
viii) The Admission of the candidates shall be held in the respective
Departments/ Centres for Studies on the scheduled dates only.

ix) The Selection and Admission of all Academic Programmes covered by this
Notification shall be purely provisional and subject to fulfilment of requisite
norms of Qualifying Examinations and other relevant criteria.

Payment Facilitation Centre: Digital Lounge, Dibrugarh University,

Accepted Modes of Payments:

i. Online Payments using Debit Card/Credit Card/ Internet Banking

ii. POS Machine, using Debit Card/Credit Card
iii. Cash Deposit at the designated bank (least preferred mode)

Instruction to the Candidates:

1. The Candidates must keep handy , duly sealed and signed original admission
confirmation slips , the online application number/form , registered phone number for
online transaction , valid Debit Card/ Credit Card in order to avoid last minute rush

2. The Candidates must ensure that e- commerce transaction is allowed on their Debit
Card by the respective host banks

3. No Candidates shall be treated as admitted, unless their enrolment ID is generated

through ERP Portal. Therefore, candidate has to ensure that, their enrolment ID is
generated before leaving the University premises.

4. Cash payment shall have to be deposited at the designated bank/ branch only. No
other cash deposit shall be accepted. Designated Bank for receiving admission
Fees in cash is Punjab National Bank, Dibrugarh University Branch.

Hostel Admission:

a) The Hostel admissions shall be held on the date of admission to the academic
programmes on merit basis along with the departmental admission. The concerned
Department/ Centre for Studies shall recommend the names of the eligible candidates
for hostel admission.
b) The eligible candidates shall have to bring the duly filled-in undertakings of the
following on the day of hostel admission.
i. Anti Ragging undertaking must be filled by the students online on
http:/www.antiragging.in only. University will not accept Anti Ragging
undertaking by students in Hard/Printed copy/ Affidavits.
ii. Motor Vehicle rules
iii. Prohibition of Alcohol etc.

The formats of the Undertakings to be submitted at the time of admission are

available in the University website.

c) The admission to the University hostels shall be held as per the Hostel Admission
Rules of the University.
d) The Statutory Reservation Policy shall be followed in case of allocation of hostel seats.

e) The Hostel Allotment Committee, Dibrugarh University, shall allocate hostel seats as
per the existing norms.

 This list is for immediate reference only. In case of any discrepancy, the University reserves the
right to modify or cancel this list. This list is Provisional and it does not automatically imply
admission.
 The Provisional Merit Lists of the Dibrugarh University Teaching Departments and Centres for
Studies has been prepared on the basis of the DUPGET 2023 result. Their Caste, Category,
Gender or other relevant information was collected from the database submitted by the
Candidates at the time of Online Application for appearing in the DUPGET 2023. The Candidates
shall have to validate their information with appropriate evidential documents at the time of
admission before the Admission Committee.

 Date of Admission for seats under Endowment Category: 28.07.2023 (Friday)

 Endowment Seats:

 Number of Seats: Four (04)

 Selection Criteria: Pure on merit basis ( based on DUPGET 2023 Score)

 Endowment Fees: Rs. 25000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only)

 Date of Admission ( under endowment category):

 The seats under the Endowment category shall be filled up from the merit list of the
candidates based on the score of the DUPGET 2023 only. The Department resolved to
receive applications for 4 (Four nos.) of Endowment seats from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on 26-
07-2023. The candidates shall have to follow the same protocols/procedures specified above.
A Proforma shall be provided for the same to be filled and signed by the applicant along
with the other details filled in. The Proforma should be submitted in person to the
Department Office.

 The University has the right to cancel the candidature of a Candidate at any stage of the
admission process if any discrepancy is detected on the part of the Candidate.
