The document is applicable for 25M & 30M GBMs. 3, Background (On GBM sites, current Approved Antenna loading is as follows isting antenna loading RE Antenna loading 3xMulticband antenna ~0.35 x 1.4 x 0.13 (WxHxD), Wt 17.5 ke '3x850 MHz antenna ~0.3 x 1.6 x 0.15 (WxHxD), Wt 15 kg ‘MW Antenna loading 2x06 dia MW antenna + 1x0.3 dia MW antenna To provide capacity relief, RF team had proposed additi Proposed antenna loading RE Antenna loading 2xMult-band antenna ~0.35 x 1.4 x 0.13 (WxHxD), We 17.5 ke 2x850 MHz antenna —0.3 x 1.6 x 0.15 (WxtixD), Wt 15 kg, AxBi-sector antenna ~ 0.35 x 2.2 x 0.14 (WxHxD), Wt 37 kg AxPenta-band antenna ~ 0.4 x 1.65 x 0.18 (WxHxD), Wt 34 kg, MW Antenna loading (unchanged) 2x0.6 dia MW antenna + 170.3 dia MW antenna Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd, Rev.00 Bi-sector antenna on GBM sites. Page 4 of 8 4. GBM Infrastructure (Pole mount & cable opening) + 6 Pole mounts of 2 meter length are available on GBMs for RF antenna installation. No additional pole mount is required. + Asper RF decision, one sector Multi-band, 850 Mhz antenna & associated RRU shall be un- installed. After uninstallation of existing antennas, 1x bi-sector antenna & 1x penta-band antenna shall be installed along with associated RRU. The RRUs shall be installed such that they are behind the RF antenna. + The power cable & CPRI cable shall be taken through Cable opening available below the GBM ‘top platform. The cables shall be installed with loop. + The cable opening shall be closed with Cable canopy to avoid water ingress. 5. Important notes 1. Only One Bi-sector antenna+Penta-band antenna to be considered for 4 sector deployment in- place of existing Mult-band antenna‘850 Miz antenna. 2. Only GBNIs which are 20 kms away from the coast are to be considered for 4" sector deployment. 3. No additional loading will be allowed further on these GBMs ‘4, 25M 8& 30M GBM in SOm/s windzone are NOT TO BE upgraded with 4" Sector deployment. Alternate RF solutions shall be identifed. 5. Foundation of GBMs where 4" sector deployment i being implemented, are to be checked by Non-destructive test (ile integrity testing for Mult-pile/ micro-plle & Core test for Raft foundation). 6. Special design monopoles like 30M DDA Monopole, 25M Railtel monopole, 25M Lotus Monopole for Chandigarh are designed considering Multi-operator co-location and higher RF antenna loading. These Monopoles are suitable for 4% Sector up-gradation, Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. Rev.00 Page 6 of 8 7. Site details ‘As GBM is being subjected to higher antenna load than design, itis decided to allow Bi-sector antenna addition only in GBM sites which are away from Coast (> 20km from coast). {As per available list from RF, below are the qualifying GBM sites st City Name Mind sreea aren st Sen Grand Total (gS 39-aam/s | 47m/s 1 [Aanmedabod 39 m/s 274 27 2 | Bangalore 39 m/s 34 oa 3 | enoPAL 39m/s 3 a @_| Chandigarh arms E 6 1s 5 | COIMBATORE 39 m/s 37 * 37 % | Dein aT m/s : 254 a4 7 ‘| Hyderabad 44 m/s 55 a 55 8 | INDORE 39 m/s & 47 m/s 7 37 108 9 47 m/s : 305 305 10 | Kanpur AT m/s - 35, 35 ii | Lucknow a m/e 700 100 32 | Mumba aml ET} : 29 33 | Nagpur amis 7 5 a 1a | Pune 35m/5 a et Is | surat amis Zi z 16 | Vadodara 3a m/s ii 5 Ta Grand Total 841 946 1787 Note : Above table is as per Status updated in GIS however same shall be re-verified before actual implementation.
