Attendance
• Attendance module captures In & Out time records based on punches and records the working hours based
on In & Out time calculations.
• An employee can regularize attendance records in case of any missed attendance or any other attendance
issues.
• Attendance regularization is not required on Holidays, Weekly off and leave
• Attendance Punch-In happens once but Attendance Punch-Out can be marked any time, Attendance system
takes only first & last time logs for work hour calculation.

Attendance – Mark your attendance
Attendance Marking/Punching –
Punch In – Click Punch in to mark attendance with entry time or In-time. In-time is recorded and displayed
below Punch-in Icon on the page and icon color changes form blue to gray and Punch-out icon becomes
active.
Punch Out – Click Punch Out to mark attendance with out time. Punch out time appears below the icon.
Punch out can be hit multiple times but system considers last punch time for attendance data processing.
Punch out button remains blue throughout the day or irrespective the no of hit on Punch out.
Attendance data is processed mid night and reflects the status of attendance on next day under “My
attendance” section

My Attendance

Things to Remember
When submitting a request for regularization, if more than 5 days are selected for regularization then the pop-up message will appear.
Employee will not be able to submit the regularization request.

Attendance option
Attendance menu enabled. Employee can mark the
attendance on mobile.

Mark attendance
Employee can Punch-in Attendance on mobile app. For mobile punch employee should have Alt work life
app, after login successfully he/she need to select Attendance menu and click on Punch In near to his/her
office and Punch out while leaving from office

Attendance – FAQs
What if you forget to mark attendance in morning?
If attendance marking is missed in morning (In time) and marked evening (out time) attendance only, system will consider only one time and attendance should be
regularized in next 48 hrs and time should be modified
What if you forget to mark attendance in evening?
Only one “In time” is recorded in system and it will be shown as MIS, attendance should be regularized within next 48 hrs and out time should be entered.
Is it mandatory to punch-in & Punch out through the same mode or device?
No, Employee can Punch-In from Mobile device & Punch out form Web or vice-e-versa. Similarly can punch in form one device and punch out from another device.
Why the Punch-out icon color is not changing?
Punch In button once clicked, it changes color from Blue to Gray to represent inactiveness. Punch-out button becomes active when Punch in time is recorded and
remains active throughout the day. Punch-out can be hit multiple times during the day and records multiple times as well. Considering this functionality of multiple
punch-outs it remains active and color remains blue. It becomes inactive on the next day to enable employee to Punch-in again.
Punched In/Punched Out time does not appear on Web when attendance was marked through mobile app.
This may happen due to delay in data communication to attendance server. Communication time to server is just a fraction of min but due to various connectivity
challenge it may get delayed and causes delay in time reflection on Web or Mobile.
