I. REGISTRATION
At 1:30 in the afternoon, Ms. Jade F. Maglasang began listing the attendance for

the 1 Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly.
II. CALL TO ORDER
The session was called to order at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon.
III. INVOCATION, SINGING OF NATIONAL ANTHEM, LAKE SEBU HYMN AND
SOUTH COTABATO HYMN
Hon. Elgie Ken Y. Alam led the invocation while the singing of the Philippine
national anthem, Lake Sebu and South Cotabato hymns followed via overture.
IV. ROLL CALL
The roll call was done by Ms. Jade F. Maglasang and declared that the
attendance was in quorum to transact a business.
V. WELCOME ADDRESS
Hon. Hopeniel F. Maglasang expressed gratitude to the KK members for coming
and for attending the first KK Assembly and welcomed everyone of them. He also read
the objectives necessary to conduct a KK Assembly.

Hon. Enjay P. Berdin moved to adopt the business of the 1 st KK Assembly and
seconded by KK member, John Romel Cangque.
PROCEEDINGS:
1. INTRODUCTION OF SK COUNCIL COMMITTEES AND APPOINTEES
Hon. Jesmarie Grace D. Dinyan introduced to the KK members the committees
of the SK Council and the appointed officials as follows:
Committee on Education and Culture- Hon. Enjay P. Berdin
Committee on Environmental Protection, Climate Change Adaptation (CCA), and
Disaster Risk Reduction and Resiliency (DRRR)- Hon. Merry Grace P. Celeste
Committee on Youth Employment and Livelihood- Hon. Vince Fermocil
Committee on Health, Health Services, and Reproductive Health- Hon. Hopeniel
F. Maglasang
Committee on Anti-Drug Abuse and Social Protection- Hon. Mike Anthony A.
Gardose
Committee on Gender and Development – Hon. Elgie Ken Y. Alam
Committee on Sports and Development- Hon. Dave N. Esconde
Jade F. Maglasang- SK Secretary
Lourgene M. Posadas- SK Treasurer
2. PRESENTATION OF APPROVED ABYIP 2024
SK Chairperson Hon. Jesmarie Grace D. Dinyan presented and discussed all the
programs, projects and activities included in the Annual Budget Youth Investment Plan
2024 of SK Ned along with their corresponding appropriations.
After the reading and discussions, Hon. Merry Grace P. Fermocil moved to adopt
the ABYIP 2024 presentation, duly seconded by KK member Ms. Kristine Pearl Villaflor
and unanimously agreed by the body.
3. PRESENTATION OF THE FIRST QUARTER ACCOMPLISHMENT
Hon. Enjay P. Berdin announced to the KK members all the activities and
programs implemented during the first 100-day in service accomplishments of SK 2024.
He mentioned the following:
SK Chairperson Change of signatory or fidelity bond, Appointment of SK
Secretary and Treasurer, Barangay Fiesta Sports, SK Financial Support to Municipal
Meet and DepEd activities, SK/KK Night, Distribution of Sports Equipment to active KKs
(sitios), Literacy and Community Outreach Program, Ongoing KK Profiling and the KK
Assembly which was conducted during that time.
Hon. Mike Anthony A. Gardose moved for the adoption of the accomplishment
report presentation of Hon. Berdin. Mr. Jasper Kay F. Suco seconded.
4. GATHERING OF SUGGESTIONS (OPEN FORUM)
The presiding officer opened the table for suggestions from the KK members.
Mr. Christian Egno suggested that Sepak Takraw will be added to ball games
played during barangay festival. He also suggested quiz bee, poster making, slogan,
communication skills and public speaking seminar and workshop.
Mr. Jaymark S. Detorio suggested for Mobile Legend Tournament.
Ms. Kristine Pearl Villaflor suggested modeling.
Ms. Jenerose Avila suggested that free printing services will be offered by the SK.
Ms. Janella Fermocil suggested an exclusive search for IP on IP Day and build
Volleyball and Sepak Takraw court in the barangay.
The presiding officer responded that all these suggestions will be subjected to
discussions and approval during the SK Council’s meeting although not all the
suggestions will be granted. The SK Council will examine the availability of funds and
the viability of suggestions.
VII. ADJOURNMENT
There being no more matters to be discussed, Hon. Merry Grace P. Celeste
moved to adjourn the meeting, duly seconded by Mr. Christian Egno.
The 1st Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly was adjourned at 4:00 o’clock in the
afternoon.
