Part 2: Describe a good law in your country
🗣 Answer (band 6.5–7.0, dễ hiểu):
A good law in my country is the mandatory helmet law.
It says that everyone who rides a motorbike must wear a helmet.
This law was made to protect people’s safety on the road.
I first learned about this law when I was a child.
I saw my parents and everyone wearing helmets, and they told me it’s required by law.
The law affects all motorbike riders, including both drivers and passengers.
I think this is a good law because it helps reduce serious injuries and save lives in traffic
accidents.
Without this law, many people might not wear helmets and get badly hurt in crashes.
It’s a simple rule, but it really makes a big difference.

Part 3:
🔹 1. What are the necessary qualities for someone to become a judge?
🗣 Sample Answer:
From my perspective, it is extremely important for a judge to be fair-minded, honest, and
emotionally stable.
These qualities help judges make balanced and lawful decisions in court.
A classical illustration for this is that judges often have to deal with serious crimes or family
issues.
Without fairness or emotional control, they might make biased or emotional judgments, which
could lead to injustice.
I suppose if judges didn’t have these qualities, innocent people might be punished, or guilty ones
could go free, which is very dangerous for society.
On the other hand, I do realise that judges are human too, and sometimes personal feelings may
affect their thinking.
However, this is why training and strict rules are needed in the legal system.
To sum up, fairness, honesty, and self-control are definitely the most important traits a judge
should have, in order to ensure justice for everyone.
🔹 2. What are the necessary qualities for someone to become a
lawyer?
🗣 Sample Answer:
Well, generally speaking, I hold the view that a lawyer needs to be intelligent, persuasive, and
have strong communication skills.
These traits are important because lawyers must defend their clients’ rights and convince the
court with strong arguments.
For instance, a skilled lawyer can use logical thinking and evidence to protect someone who is
wrongly accused.
If a lawyer lacks these skills, their client might lose the case, even if they are innocent.
Moreover, lawyers should also be hard-working and good at doing research, because legal
cases often involve a lot of details and documents.
On the other hand, I have to say that being persuasive without ethics can be dangerous.
Some lawyers may use their skills to defend the guilty or cheat the system.
In conclusion, while communication and intelligence are key, it’s also important for lawyers to
act with morality and responsibility.
🔹 3. Are there any circumstances when the law should be broken?
🗣 Sample Answer:
From my point of view, the law should usually be followed, but in some rare situations, it might
be acceptable to break it.
One clear example is when someone breaks the law to save a life or protect someone from
serious harm.
For instance, imagine someone drives over the speed limit to rush a person to the hospital during
an emergency.
In that case, breaking the law could be seen as justifiable.
However, I do realise that if everyone thinks they can break the law for personal reasons, it
would lead to chaos and disorder in society.
On the other hand, there are unfair laws in some countries, and in those cases, peaceful protest
or civil disobedience may be necessary to bring change.
To sum up, while laws are made to protect society, there might be exceptional cases where
breaking them is the morally right thing to do — but only with caution and good reason.
How many hours do you sleep every day?
I have to admit that I am not sleeping much recently, just about 5 hours a day. I’m
currently working and studying at the same time. That’s why I have to deal with tons of
schoolwork as well as the overwhelming workload at my workplace. And of course, this
does not allow me to have much time to sleep in a day.
Is it necessary to take a nap every day? Absolutely. I think napping is a great way to
recharge my batteries and refresh my mind. For me, taking nap after long hours is like
hitting the restart button in my brain.
Do old people sleep a lot? Why? I don’t think so. Most of the elderly I know have to
suffer from insomnia, which is a sleep disorder that people may have when they reach an
old age. Therefore, they can hardly sleep at all.
