Instructions to the Candidates
1. This Admit Card must be presented for verification at the time of examination along with ORIGINAL company Photo
Identity card.No candidate will be allowed to enter at the Test Centre without valid Admit Card and Company photo
Identity card.
2. Candidates are advised to locate the Test Centres. BCCL will not be responsible for late coming.
3. NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE IN TEST CENTER WILL BE CONSIDERED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
4. In case the photo is not appearing/clear on the Admit Card, the candidate must bring at least 02 nos. of passport –
size colour photograph with her/ him duly attested by unit personnel executive.
5. Candidates are strictly advised not to bring any electronic devices, viz., electronic gadgets, pen drives, hard disks,
earphones or microphones, electronic watches with computing facilities, electronic or non – electronic devices,

 handbags, purse, calculator, log tables, pagers, digital diaries, books, notebooks, etc. which are strictly prohibited in
Test Centres. If any candidate found in possession of any of these devices / documents, his / her candidature is
liable to be cancelled herewith, even if he / she is not found using such device.
6. Candidates are also advised not to bring any valuable costly items to the test centres as arrangement for
safekeeping will not be provided and test centre will not be responsible for safe custody, loss or theft.
7. Candidates must report to their allotted Test Centre at least one hour (i.e. 10:00AM) before the commencement of
the Test i.e., Reporting Time mentioned in the Admit Card so that identity verification / other pre – examination
formalities can be done. The entry gates of Test Centre will be closed fifteen minutes (At 10:45 AM) before
commencement of Test. NO LATE COMERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE TEST CENTER THEREAFTER.
8. Candidates should occupy their allotted seats 30 minutes before the schedules start of the examination.
9. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the completion of the examination.
10. The admit card is issued provisionally to the candidates. If it is found that false/ wrong information has been furnished
at any stage of the selection process, the candidature of the candidate will be cancelled/ rejected even though he/she
appeared in the exam/ secured a position in the merit list or after final selection.
11. The total duration of Exam is 2 hours. Each correct answer shall carry one mark and there is NO NEGATIVE
MARKING for wrong answers. No marks will be awarded for un-attempted questions. The question paper will be
bilingual i.e. English and Hindi only. However, in case of any typographical error in Hindi, the English version of the
question shall be valid. The exam will be of objective type comprising of multiple-choice questions. The candidates
are required to answer by darkening only one circle with Black/ Blue Ball Point Pen only in the OMR sheet provided
to them. If you darken more than one circle for one question, the question will not be evaluated.
12. Anyone found to be disclosing, publishing, reproducing, transmitting, storing or facilitating transmission and storage
of test contents in any form or any information therein in whole or part thereof or by any means i.e. verbal or written,
electronic or mechanical or taking away the rough papers supplied in the examination centre or found to be in
unauthorized possession of test content will be considered as serious misconduct and will be debarred/disqualified
from examination. BCCL will take disciplinary action as per CSO as well as legal action and such cases will be
reported to police, if necessary. Candidates must also refrain from creating any obstruction during the conduct of
examination. If any candidate is found obstructing the conduct of the examination or creating disturbances at the
examination venue, his/her candidature shall be summarily cancelled. Such candidate shall also be liable to be
debarred from future examinations of the BCCL and legal proceedings could be initiated against him/her.
13. The candidates should regularly visit BCCL's website for latest updates related to departmental selection process.
14. Any in-disciplined attitude/violence on the part of the candidate at the Test Centre will be viewed seriously which may
lead to cancellation of the candidature besides taking appropriate disciplinary action as per CSO as well as legal
action.
15. The management reserves the right to cancel or postpone the written test without assigning any reason.
16. The admit card is purely provisional subject to the condition that the candidate had applied against the earlier
notification and had fulfilled the eligibility conditions as mentioned therein.
17. Friends and relatives accompanying the candidates will not be allowed inside the Test Centre.
18. Admission to the test centre is abided by the Rules of BCCL.
19. Facilities at the exam centre will be provided to the PwD candidates as per the government norms/guidelines.
