1.1 Scope of Work
In accordance with the instructions received from UEP, BELMONT ASIA Surveyors
attended the Drilling Rig UEP-1, to complete Inspection of the Rig in compliance with
DROPS.
The purpose of this Inspection/ Survey was to determine the general condition and
state of maintenance of the Rig, in order to minimize downtime caused by any
incident during drilling operations and to ensure that the equipment is maintained in
safe working order.
Inspections include a detailed review of all permanent structures, equipment,
machinery, ancillary items used at height, and their individual identification
reference, primary fixing method, secondary retention feature, and safety securing
device where fitted.
1.2 Applicable Standards and References
The criteria which have been used as reference during this survey are internationally
recognized standards of DROPS, local legislative requirements, client’s safety and
operating standards, the original equipment manufacturer’s maintenance and
operating specifications and accepted oilfield operating and safety practices.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
As instructed by UEP, Surveyor team of BELMONT ASIA attended UEP-1 Drilling
Rig, which was in operational position at MAZARI OIL FILED
The inspection of the UEP-1 Rig was conducted on 16TH February 2024.
The inspection Process carried out with as following steps.
1. Visual Inspection
2. Documentation review / Certification review
BELMONT ASIA would like to thank the Operations Team from the UEP-1 Rig who
were involved with the inspection of the rig. Assistance was provided whenever
possible. The attending surveyors appreciated the time that was provided. All
personnel were accommodating in locating and providing information to
complete the inspection.
CONCLUSION
The preservation process of the equipment and assets throughout the
installation found intact, the maintenance system was effective and efficient. It
was clear that there were ample efforts taken within the maintenance, stock
controls, ordering, purchasing and/or procedures with the effective upkeep of
the various components and equipment rig-wide.
