FULL SCRIPT: The Vietnamese Spirit

[Opening – Anna]

If we could show the world just one thing about modern Vietnam, it would not be a
place, a food, or a festival. It would be something deeper. Something stronger.
Something you can feel, but cannot touch.

It would be… The Vietnamese Spirit.

[Part 2 – Definition – Chloe]

The Vietnamese Spirit is the soul of our country.

It’s in how we overcome hardship with courage.
How we stand together in unity — as one family.
How we protect our culture, even in modern life.
And how we believe in our future, because of our past.

[Part 3 – Modern Examples – Mina]

You can see the Vietnamese Spirit in the young people of today.
Students like us — studying hard, chasing dreams, building a better future.
It’s in the rise of Vietnamese technology — like VinFast, Zalo, and our young
inventors.
It’s in how we mix tradition with modern life — wearing áo dài at graduation,
cooking family meals while using smart devices.
And it’s in the way we always help each other, no matter what — in floods, in
storms, in tough times.
[Part 4 – Real-Life Stories of the Spirit- Selena]

We have seen this spirit shine the brightest during tough times.
When the Yagi storm hit, neighbors helped each other rebuild. Volunteers brought
food, comfort, and hope.
When our national football team wins, millions gather in the streets — not just to
celebrate a goal, but to celebrate unity.
Every year on Reunification Day, we remember — we are ONE country, one
people, one heart.
This is how we overcome challenges: together.

[Part 5 – Personal Connection – Yumi]

We are proud to carry this spirit in our hearts.
As students, we believe in building a stronger, smarter, more peaceful Vietnam.
We may be young, but we are the future — and we are ready.
Because the Vietnamese Spirit is not just history. It is alive in us.

[Closing – Sarah]
The Vietnamese Spirit is in all of us.
It is what makes Vietnam strong.
It is what makes us proud.
And that… is the one thing we want to show the world.

[All Together]
We are proud to be Vietnamese. Let our voice be heard!
