IIQM COURSE BROCHURE

Indian Institute of Quality Management (IIQM) has been set up under

Standardization, Testing & Quality Certification (STQC) Program of
Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India.
STQC Dte. functions under MeitY and provides Assurance Services in
Quality and Security (IT) on a national level. STQC is a key enabler in
making Indian electronics industry and IT organizations and users
achieve compliance to International Quality Standards so as to
compete globally. STQC has received substantial support through
Indo-German Technical Co-operation Project during 1980-1995. STQC
is represented in all the major national forums such as BIS, QCI, NABL
and major Industry Associations.

STQC holds National and International accreditations for its testing and
certification services. It has collaborative arrangements with major
certification agencies like BSI (UK), UL (USA), TUV (Germany) and
STQC Certified Internal QMS Auditor

STQC is also represented in the International Standards bodies, like (based on IS/ISO 9001:2015)
ISO.

STQC activities are executed through a country wide network

consisting of HQ; ERTLs (4); ETDCs (10); CFR; IIQM; and CETEs (5).

STQC Laboratories/ Centres are involved in Testing, Calibration and

Training activities. STQC HQ operates Certification schemes, including
Certification of QMS (ISO 9000, ISMS (ISO 27001), ITSMS (ISO
20000-1) and Product Certification for Safety, EMC based on
International Standards (IEC).

IIQM operating under STQC Directorate provides training to industry

and user departments in the area of QMS, EMS, Laboratory Quality
Management, Quality Technology and Information Technology. It has
established itself as a professional institute in the subjects taught. IIQM
was established in 1994 and since then has trained over 21000
professionals coming not only from different parts of India, but also Indian Institute of Quality Management
from outside countries. It was instrumental in starting educational STQC Dte., Ministry of Electronics & Information Tech., “MeitY”,
programmes under bilateral arrangements with BITS, Pilani and MQI, Govt. of India, Near Apex Hospital, ETDC Campus,

 Internal Auditor Training Course NOTE: This course can also be conducted onsite at client’s
premises subject to sufficient number of participants.
For QMS- IS/ISO 9001:2015 Applicable charges and details may be confirmed with

 Course Objectives:
The principal aim of the course is to provide students with the  Accommodation:

qualifies in continuous assessment only and attends the course course is Diploma or equivalent in any discipline. Course delivery is
for full duration. in English language only.
 Declaration of Results: Approx. 1 Month after Course completion
Qualifying in all aspects of the course is essential. Results of
performance are communicated in confidence to the concerned  Enrollment :
participant/ sponsoring authority only (as applicable). Course Fee is payable through bharatkosh only. Nominations may
be sent on email id iiqm@stqc.gov.in or on plain paper at address

confirmation form IIQM along with the fee payment instructions.
 Audit Process, Auditor Responsibility, Planning, Use of Checklist, Prior Confirmation for participation in the course is a must.

 Continuous Assessment, and Pre-Course Material is sent to confirmed participants by post/email
 Final Written Examination – Open book exam where only copy of approximately one week prior to commencement of the course.
ISO 9001 standard & notes taken during class, would be allowed.
 Timings:
 Number of Delegates per batch: Minimum 4 and Maximum 20. 0900 Hours to 1835 Hours. Course closes by 1715 Hrs on last day.
