The temptation

Biblical Outlines
James 1:13-15 "When tempted, no one should say, 'God is tempting me.' For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;"

INTRODUCTION:
It is important to address this issue, as many times, after having consented to temptation in our lives
and after having yielded to her; we began to blame other people, the devil and if possible we blame
God and we do not recognize that it was us who gave in to temptation, thus committing
the sin.
What is temptation?
Temptation is an external condition or circumstance, an inner feeling or passion that induces us to act.

2. Sources of temptation:

4. WHY DOES GOD ALLOW TEMPTATION?


A. BECAUSE IT DEVELOPS CHARACTER AND FAITH.

5. How to overcome temptation?
A. THAT IS THE PURPOSE OF GOD, THAT WE OVERCOME.

B. WE MUST NOT SEEK TEMPTATION, BUT AVOID IT.
