What we can learn from this chapter

In verse one, we learn something very important for us because it says that the
a soft answer removes anger this is what we should do when someone speaks to us
angry or using bad words because in (Rom. 12:21) we learn that we should not
we should not be defeated by evil, but rather we must overcome evil with good.
When we do not do what Proverbs says, instead of removing anger, we increase it.
As much as we are Christians, we must always respond with gentle words.
no matter what the situation is at that moment.
In verse 2, we learn that our way of speaking will identify us.

In verse 4 we see the word peaceful, this teaches us about a calm person.
calm, she first thinks about what she is going to say and if it is right, she says it, and if not, she doesn't say it.
the same is what we learn in (James 1:19 – Proverbs 15:28)
In verse 5, we learn that people who reject advice are known.
as foolish people, but those who keep advice are known as wise.
The question is, how are we known today?
In verse 12 we find two kinds of people: those who mock because
To sneer is to mock; it is said that those who rebuke them do not love, they do this.
Many Christians today, when a brother corrects them because they are in the wrong, mock and that's it.
they do not love him, they do this because they forget that when a brother reproaches them it is because
he loves them (Heb. 12:5-7) this same person is one who avoids associating with the wise
to say with those who accept the reprimand. In this way we should not be today the
Christians.
In verse 18 we find the angry man, this is one who is always
seeking a lawsuit for anything, we should not do this as Christians because the
Apostle Paul in (Rom. 12:21) says do not be overcome by evil.
Verse 24 teaches us something very beautiful that we need to understand, it says that the

(Col. 3:1-2) first of all the apostle Paul teaches us that we must seek the things
from above later says that we must set our gaze on the things from above the Lord

heaven. Now we can better understand what verse 24 of Proverbs 15 says that

look and their hope in the things above where God is and where we will be one

In verse two, we learn that we can do many things thinking that all
they are well done but it is God who will be judging our intentions, He does this
because He knows what we are thinking (Ps. 139:1-5). (See. The Word of God for
all
In verse four, we learn that everything God has done, is doing, and will do

Christians must always be honest before God.
In verse 23 we learn that we must always think before we speak because of this
we will make fewer mistakes before God and men

Chapter 17

What we can learn in this chapter

In verse 1, we learn that it is more important to live in peace being poor than to live
being rich but fighting daily, this peace must first of all be for
with God first, then with ourselves and with others, let us remember that the
Lord Jesus Christ says that He gives us peace but not as the world gives (John 14:27) this

In verse 4, we learn about two houses that a Christian should not build (1) that should not
We must listen to perversions; it is words that are not correct because they are
immoral, we see this same teaching in (Eph. 4:29) (2) That we should not put
attention to those who lie because this is done by those who also lie
but a Christian must always strive not to tell lies in his daily life (Eph.
4:25 – Pr. 17:20).
In verse 9, we learn something very beautiful which is to always forgive those who...
they offend to maintain a beautiful friendship, let us remember that the Lord Jesus Christ tells you
to the apostle Peter that he should always be ready to forgive (Matt. 18:21-22) this is
difficult for many human beings to do, but this is easier if we think that

every Christian.

What we can learn in this chapter

In verses 1 and 2 (See The Word of God for Everyone) we learn one of the classes
of people that you and I probably know, these are selfish people in
other words people who always seek their own without caring about the opinion of others
These kinds of people always use 'I was', 'I do', 'I am', they do this.
Why do they always try to fulfill all their whims? It shouldn't be this way.
Cristiano, because according to the Word of God it is first God, then the neighbor, and
then we (Mat. 22:37-40). Therefore, we should always think of others before ourselves
ourselves.
In verse 6 we can see another class of people; these are those who, for not being
They always look for disputes or fights with their words; they do this for not
knowing how to recognize when they are wrong in what they are doing. Now this is something very
normal for people who do not know God, but for Christians and for those who
they dedicate themselves to preaching the Word of our God. A Christian should not do this out of
that in (Rom. 12:21) we learn that we must repay evil with good.
In verse 15 we can learn 2 things of utmost importance for us (1) that
we must always use our minds with the desire to learn more every day the will
of our God (2) that we must learn to listen carefully to the Word of
Our God so that He can increase our knowledge, let us remember that growing in

what our God gives us, that is why those of us who have a good wife must
always to take care of her, respect her, and love her at all times of our lives (Prov. 5:19).
In verse 24 we learn how important and beautiful friendship is with our
neighbor. Another thing that this verse teaches us is that apart from being brothers in
Christ, we must be sincere friends to one another as David and Jonathan were.
(1 Sam. 18:1) this beautiful friendship among friends is what should always exist between
the Christians.

God of what we did in the time we were in this body (2 Cor. 5:10).
In verse 18 we learn that to think correctly our mind has to

In verse 19 we learn that we should not be gossipers because when this

In verse 22, we learn that we should not take revenge when we are offended, but rather

Chapter 21

What we can learn in this chapter

In verse 1 we can learn how our God can control our

thoughts so that in this way we do His will, this we understand with the
example that the writer gives us of how the canals control the waters. This can be
to make our God as long as we are willing to do His will.
In verse 2, we find the kind of people who are always believing that
everything they do is done well therefore they are well before God, these people

accept or reject. Therefore, we as Christians must strive to do
what pleases God because He is the one who judges our intentions.

14
In verse 4 we can learn two things that are sin before God. First of all
it says that the arrogant look is sin (Prov. 21:24) this is being proud in other words
to think that we are better than others when we do this we are saying that
we know more than everyone around us when we think like this it leads us to look at the
others as inferior to us. (Pr. 21:29)6We should never do this.
Christians, because before our God we are equal, this we learn in (Phil. 2:1-8)
Here we can learn that the opposite of having an arrogant gaze is to have a gaze
humble always considered the others as superior to ourselves,
let us remember that if we look with arrogance, we are sinning before our God.
second place in this verse we learn that wicked or bad thoughts are
sin. Therefore, we must always try not to think badly, that is, not to have bad thoughts.

problems with our neighbor this is what we learn in (James 1:19)

Chapter 22

In verse 3 we can see two kinds of men (1) The one who is prudent, a person
What is prudent is that which acts with moderation and sensibility.7A prudent person is
one that is Sensible, Judicious, Cautious, Balanced, Serious, and Reflective8Now well
the same verse explains to us what a prudent person does, it says that this sees
the danger and avoids it. Next, I want us to see an example of a man
prudent, this we can see in (Gen. 39:7-12) Here we can see Joseph, this man is
a beautiful example of a prudent man, because upon seeing danger he decided to avoid it.
Now then, as Christians, we must always be prudent, that is, careful to
always avoid evil. Now let's see (2) the other kind of people who teach us this

we have to teach them the will of our God. In the (See. The Word of God for

we should not associate with people who get easily angry because with them
we can become like these people, let's remember that in (Pr. 13:20) it says
it teaches us that he who walks with the wise will be wise in (1 Cor. 15:33) we are taught that

It teaches that if we are friends of the world, we are enemies of God. Therefore, as
Christians that we are, we should be very careful with whom we are associating today.10

Some things we can learn in this chapter

In verses 4 and 5, we can learn that we should not always think about the...
riches of this world or in making ourselves rich because the same verse teaches us that
Riches are not eternal but rather pass quickly. Now let us remember the
the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ on this same topic in (Matt. 6:19-24) Here
we can learn that our heart should not be set on the treasures of this

Chapter 24

Some things we can learn in this chapter

In verses 1 and 2 we learn something of great importance for us today. This is

that we should not be envious of those who do evil, because if we are envious,
this will lead us to do what they are doing. That is why in this same verse

salt and the light of the world, in other words, the good example, this with the purpose of being able to

In verses 13-14 we can learn something very beautiful, because here it says that from the
the way eating honey tastes sweet to us, in the same way eating the wisdom of
God, He will know us sweet, this is when we dedicate time to read, meditate, and study the
Word of our God (1 Timothy 4:13 - Psalm 119:97 - 2 Peter 3:18).
In verse 16 we can learn another of the important things from this chapter, here

When our enemy falls or stumbles, it is because God is not pleased when we do this.
In (Mat. 5:44) Our Lord Jesus Christ commands us to love our enemies, this...
we must do because let us remember that the second commandment is to love our

Chapter 25

Some things we can learn in this chapter

In verse 6 we learn something very important for us as Christians that

we are, because here we are taught not to take ourselves too seriously, that is to say that
let's not be arrogant before the king because the king may come to think that we want him
put in its place. Now let's look at this teaching spiritually as Christians
what we are for us the king of kings is our Lord Jesus Christ (Phil. 2:1-8) We
we are your servants. Therefore, let us not think like many men think today that
they are more powerful than God himself, let us remember that our God has always been pleased
of the humble (James 4:6). In the second part of verse 6, we are taught that it is better
wait for the king to invite us to be with him. Now speaking spiritually The great
King of kings and Lord of lords, today He is inviting us to come and obey Him to
that in this way one day we may be with Him forever (Matt. 11:28-29) This King
powerful is inviting us to come to forgive all our sins
since He died for us on the cross. That is why it is sad today to see so many beings
humans rejecting this beautiful invitation made on behalf of the King of the universe. I want
let's think about how much we value this invitation. Let's remember that
In this very verse, it is taught to us that it was the king who took the initiative to make us.
The invitation was not us (1 John 4:7-9).
In verse 11 we can learn that it is very important (1) To say the words
appropriate (2) Say the words in time. Now if we remember the words of him
Apostle Paul to Timothy in (2 Tim. 4:2) Here Paul says to preach in season and out of season.

God.

Chapter 26

What we can learn in this chapter

In verse 3, our God sets a great example for us, because He says that to the horses
they are put on brakes, this brake is so that they obey the orders of the one who motivates them, for
When pulling the reins of the bridle, the horse obeys. Now let's see this lesson
Spiritually, we as Christians are supposed to know the Bible.
therefore, just as the bridle makes the horses and mules obey, in the same way
our God does it with us through His Word using it as a brake for
let us be stopped when we are being tempted to sin, because in (Heb. 4:12)
we learned that the Word of God can reach the deepest part of us
as long as we let her in to us.
In verse 11, it teaches us something very important, this is the sad condition of those
who distance themselves from our God after having obeyed, this verse illustrates this.
condition with something very disgusting that dogs do, now this same
teaching we can see in (2 P. 2:20-21) This is what many Christians have done
Nowadays. This can happen to us for several reasons (1) For not reading the Bible daily (1
Tim. 4:13) (2) For not applying the Bible when we need it (James 1:22) (3) For
neglecting prayer (1 Thess. 5:17 – Eph. 6:18 – Matt. 26:41) by trusting more in ourselves
the same as in God (Matt. 28:20) (4) For not rejecting friendship with the world (James 4:4)
For these and many other reasons, the Christian may come to be in the condition
learned in the mentioned verses. In verses 20-22, it teaches us that we must
be very careful not to fall into gossip because they are like soft bites and
very tasty but in the end they take us away from the life that our God desires us to live
before Him.

Chapter 27

VS. 1)

A. Here we can learn that we should not trust in the day of tomorrow because not
We don't even know if we will wake up alive, this same lesson the

various things because we have to remember that our life is extremely fragile and
that we are of today and not of tomorrow or the future. Therefore you and I
We must live as if it were the last day of our life.
VS. 4)
A. Here we can learn three negative things that a Christian should not have.
Your life (1) Anger, it says that it is very cruel because when it dominates us
we can end up doing things we didn't want to do (2) We shouldn't do the anger
to have because here it says that this can destroy us because we

A. Here we can see the great difference between a man who does not obey God and one
he who is obeying God will be fearless, but he who does not trust will always be fearful.
Trust fully in God, you will always live securely without fear of evil.
VS. 9)

A. Here we find a very large and very delicate warning, and therefore
we must give it a lot of importance in our lives. Here it says that if we do not
we pay attention to the word of God, this can lead us to God not
listen neither answer our prayers. Therefore we must put a lot of
attention to the word of God when (1) We read it (2) We meditate on it (3) We
we listen through the preachings

VS. 13)

A. This verse teaches us that if we think we can hide our sins

and no one will notice we are wrong because God knows all our
thoughts (Mark 2:6-8) and therefore it will not go well for us in what we do. The
the second part of this verse teaches us that if we confess our sins to
God will forgive us and help us not to commit them again, this is what
we learn in (1 John 1:7-10).

VS. 24)

A. He who steals from his father and mother and thinks he has done nothing wrong is similar to the
that destroys a person and therefore has not taken into account the commandment of
honor your parents (Eph. 6:2). And therefore this is sinning and God punishes sin

Chapter 29

21
What we can learn in this chapter

In verse one, it teaches us that the man who hardens his neck...
it means rebellion before God. Therefore, when we do not accept the reprimand of
part of God we are being rebellious and suddenly punishment will come to us. Therefore
we must be obedient as Christians that we are. In verse three we can see
two kinds of men, those who love wisdom these are the ones who will be bringing joy to
your parents and spiritually to our Heavenly Father, those who frequently wear these shirts
Those are the ones who do not have the wisdom of God, that is, they do not think before they act.
Verse 5 warns us against using words that people like to hear.
when they are not true. Therefore, as Christians, we should never say to

Once we can learn that foolish men are those who do not think before

insignificant things that are not worth it, but the wise man is the one who puts
be very careful in what you say and do in front of God and men so as not to be
dominated by anger and doing things they do not want to do. This is what everyone must do
Cristiano today. In verse thirteen we can see a word that is likely not it.
let's understand this is usury it means stealing from the poor and we should not do this
we as Christians are. In verse 15 we can learn that the rod or
Punishment will give wisdom and good understanding to the boy, but the one who is pampered
He can end up embarrassing his mother with his way of living. In verse 17 we can
to learn that we must always be willing to correct our children so that they
that way when they are grown they give us a break. In verse 22 we can learn
that we should not be men who get angry easily because when we do this
we will be sinning against God more times. As Christians, we must have a good
character and not a character that quickly explodes anger makes us want to do what
we used to do before we were Christians, that is to fight

Chapter 30

In verse 5 we learn two things of utmost importance for us Christians (1)

That the Word of God is clean, meaning it has no errors, is why it can...
guide us at all times in our life (Ps. 119:105) (2) That our God is the one
