forms of modern slavery. We call for stronger regional task forces and digital tracking to
stop cross-border trafficking.
In times of war, Indonesia has a record of rescuing and sheltering refugees and
continues to support humane and legal pathways for all displaced persons.
On online hate and privacy, we stress digital rights and stronger global cooperation to
build a safe and inclusive internet.
We look forward to collaborating with all delegates to craft pragmatic, ethical, and
humane solutions.

“Indonesia proposes the creation of a UNHRC Digital Protection & Transparency
Framework that:
1. Calls upon all Member States to implement national-level personal data
protection laws modeled on international standards.
2. Encourages collaboration with UNHRC, UNODC, and Interpol to monitor and
shut down online hate networks and trafficking recruitment hubs.
3. Recommends the development of biometric-based digital identification for
trafficking and refugee victims to prevent re-victimization and assist in
rehabilitation.
