• Designed CMOS-based standard cell schematics in Cadence Virtuoso using ADE L for
simulation and cellview analysis. Testbenches to verify cell functionality, analyzing
transient responses of circuits in ADE L to ensure alignment with theoretical logic.
• Optimized drive strength (e.g.,4X, 8X) for standard cells like AOI221X4, using transistor
fingering to enhance signal transition speed and load capacity in schematic and layout
designs.
• Created physical layouts for standard cells with 11 tracks and 9 tracks. Also applying DRC
and LVS checks in Virtuoso Layout Suite to ensure design rule compliance.

• Designed AMBA APB (Advanced Peripheral Bus) interface using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Developed APB master and slave modules as per AMBA 3/4 protocol specifications.

Standard Cell Design & Layout
• Designed CMOS standard cell library, including schematic design and simulation for
45mm technology. Developed 9-track and 12-track cell layouts, utilizing stick diagrams and
layout matching techniques
• Implemented drive strength and multi-drive strength cells for optimized performance.
Performed verification with DRC and LVS
• Tools Used: Cadence Virtuoso Schematic Layout, AsPVS.
Implemented ClassBasedTestbench for Bi-directional Counter
• Created a SystemVerilog testbench of a counter, integrating a generator to drive various
scenarios and tracked functional coverage to ensure all states were exercised.
• Implemented a scoreboard to compare DUT output against expected results, all linked via
mailboxes enabling proper timing and supporting up to 150 transactions to test and achieve
best coverage.

• Developed an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) using Arduino Uno for seamless switching
between solar panel and generator.
