Set “ tftp host any “


for receive tftp connection.

1. Put binary file to HomeDirectory

from RTX810.

with RTX810.

TFTP Operation
Command format from command prompt

tftp –i <ROUTER_IPADDRESS> put <FIRMWARE> exec

※ Do not worry about timeout occurred.


TFTP communication is done certainly.

Check result
Check the result of tftp process.
From Console

Firmware update is
done and automatically
restarted.
It takes about 1 minute
to update.

Execute firmware update
Command format
Get firmware revision information from <SWITCH>.
switch control function get firmware-revision <SWITCH>

Execute firmware update to <SWITCH> with <FILE> firmware.


switch control firmware upload go <FILE> <SWITCH>
Enable switch control function.
Check current revision.
“lan1:1” means the switch that
Connected LAN1/Port1
Execute firmware update.
“usb1:/” means the file in
USB Memory. It takes about
1 minute to update.
Check new revision.
