ABSTRACT:
The Stack Inventory Management System is designed to
manage product stock levels, track reordering, and maintain
supplier details.
This system helps in monitoring available quantities, generating
reorder alerts when stock falls below a certain level, and
ensuring a smooth supply process.
It automates manual inventory tracking and improves accuracy,
reliability, and efficiency in stock management.
OBJECTIVES:
To manage product details and suppliers systematically.

To track the quantity of each product in real-time.

To identify products below the reorder level.

To automatically generate reorder entries.

To maintain accurate stock and transaction history.


SCOPE:
This project can be used by:

Small and medium-sized businesses to handle product inventory.


Retail shops or warehouses for monitoring daily stock movement.
Supply chain management to reorder products efficiently.
It can be extended to web-based systems or integrated with billing
software.
MODULES:
1️⃣ Supplier Management – Store supplier information like name,
contact, and address.
2️⃣ Product Management – Maintain product name, supplier, stock,
and price.
3️⃣ Inventory Transactions – Track incoming and outgoing product
quantities.
4️⃣ Reorder Management – Identify low-stock products and
generate reorder requests.
5️⃣ Reports Module – Display stock levels, reorder status, and
supplier details.

SQL IMPLEMENTATION:
1. Database Creation
CREATE DATABASE
Stack Inventory;
USE StackInventory;
2. Table Creation – Suppliers, Products, Inventory_Transactions, Reorders.
3. Insert Data – Add sample suppliers and products.
4. Transaction Handling – Insert stock IN/OUT records.
5. Reorder Generation – Auto-create reorder when stock ≤ reorder level.
6. Status Update – Update product stock and reorder status after supply.
7. Reports – Final stock and reorder status.
Output:
Inserting data
Updated inventory
RESULTS:
All tables created successfully.

System automatically detects low stock.

Reorder table auto-fills pending requests.

Final inventory updated correctly.


ADVANTAGES:
Reduces manual stock checking.

Ensures timely reorder of products.

Improves accuracy and avoids overstocking.

It can be integrated into advanced inventory systems.
