All Yamaha models offer YPAO, which analyses room acoustics and adjusts audio parameters for optimum sound in just a few minutes. This technology is so accurate, its like having a professional installer calibrate your system. The RX-V771 offers more advanced YPAO multipoint functionality.

USB Digital Connection for iPod and iPhone on the Front Panel
A USB port on the front panel provides convenient connection for your iPod/iPhone, which also charges when connected. Because the digital signal from the iPod/iPhone is transmitted directly to the AV Receiver, noise interference is minimised and sound quality is much better.
*The RX-V371 has a mini-jack instead of a USB input.

iPhone App for Easy, Convenient Operation

The RX-V671 and RX-V771 Network AV Receivers let you use the AV Controller app that is downloadable from the iTunes App Store to control power on/off and volume, select input and DSP modes and operate other functions from an iPhone, etc. You can display menus in English, French, German, Spanish and other languages.

HD Audio with CINEMA DSP 3D and Virtual Presence Speaker

HDMI CEC Compatibility and SCENE Make Operation Even Easier

HDMI CEC and SCENE make it possible to control other components such as TVs and Blu-ray Disc players that have CEC functionality. For example, you can power on the receiver, TV and Blu-ray Disc player by pressing one SCENE button. You can also operate basic Blu-ray Disc player functions like skip and stop with the AV receivers remote control.
*The RX-V371s HDMI CEC is not compatible with SCENE and the remote control.

Eco-Friendly Design with Selectable Auto Power Down

Yamaha makes its receivers eco friendly with a low standby power consumption of 0.1W (1.2W in HDMI Standby Through mode). In addition, Auto Power Down can be set to turn off the power after 4, 8 or 12 hours.
*RX-V371 power consumption is 0.5W. RX-V671, RX-V771 power consumption is 2W in HDMI Standby Through mode.
