Year 3 ICT: Removable Storage Devices

The document discusses different types of removable storage devices: 1) Floppy disks were an early storage device but had limited capacity and were easily damaged. 2) External hard drives provided more storage than floppies, starting at 10MB capacity and now providing gigabytes of storage. 3) CD-ROMs allowed storing large amounts of data like videos and games, but DVDs provide even more storage than CD-ROMs. 4) Flash drives are small, portable storage devices that plug into USB ports and can hold from 512MB to 8GB of data, making them useful for file backup and transfer.
