Practicum Interview

Aisha Hashil AlKharoossi completed her practicum at Al Qarayen kindergarten, which had around 12 classes and over 300 students. She enjoyed developing the speaking and thinking skills of the young students. Her main challenge was managing the large number of students. She showed commitment by arriving on time daily and using the Ministry of Education curriculum. She collaborated with her mentor teacher and other teachers by discussing lessons and asking questions. Her mentor teacher helped her with lesson planning by considering student levels and choosing activities. She learned the importance of organization and having a backup plan. Her strengths included being open-minded, and she wants to improve her ability to plan engaging activities.
