platform.
 Internet is having a lot of features some are
very basic and some are very complicated.
 The major uses of internet are we can do net
banking , search information about anything
and read news.
 Our daily life routine depends on internet.

Now we are going to study every use in detail.


 Students have a free platform to learn
throughout their lifetime.
 Students are using the Internet to learn new
skills and even acquire degrees in
professional online courses.
 Similarly, educators like us are using the
Internet for teaching and sharing our
knowledge and experience with the world.
 Students get study material from internet
such as NCERT solutions.
 We also use the Internet to promote our
business. We can sell our products by using
various e-Commerce solutions on the
Internet.
 E-commerce is booming on the Internet and
we can see new services and creative
business starting up every single day, which
in turn is creating jobs and thereby reducing
unemployment.
 Shopping has become a hassle-free task now and
almost anybody can order products online after
comparison with other websites.
 Shopping sites are more interesting because of
huge discounts different companies are offering
customers.
 The customer can pay cash for delivery of a
product delivered to his house in a few hours
and can return the product if he is not satisfied
with it.
 Shopping on the Internet is affordable,
convenient and saves time. The Use of
flipkart.com, alibaba.com, amazon.com,
paytm.com, snapdeal.com etc.
 The Internet is undoubtedly the most
effective and far-reaching communication
tool we have at present. Communication on
the Internet is free and fast.
 We all are connected with each other on
various computers and IP.
 Skype, chat messengers, social media is
common for personal and professional
purposes.
 We can find jobs on internet very easily on
websites such as indeed , naukri.com ,
shine.com , monster etc.
 On these websites wee just need to upload
our profile and sitting at home we can apply
for jobs in any field weather it be teacher ,
engineer or doctor.
 We can share or receive money by sitting at
our home in just seconds using internet .
Apps such as Paytm, phonepe , bhim upi etc.
offer these services.
 This money safely transfers from one bank
account to another and get’s registered.
 Uses of Internet in tour and travelling are
highly effective.
 We can book tickets of any concerts , trains ,
movies , hotels etc. in seconds.
 We can compare prices of different hotels by
using internet and the one with suitable
price we can book.
 People use the internet for entertainment
purpose.
 The availability of digital music has changed
the way people listen to music. Radio
stations broadcast online to increase tune
and other websites such as iTunes allow you
to stream and download music.
 Instead of taking a trip to the local video
store, many people watch online movies and
TV shows.
