Lee Iacocca is an American businessman best known for reviving Chrysler Corporation in the 1980s. He served as President and CEO of Chrysler from 1978 to 1992. Prior to Chrysler, Iacocca had a successful career at Ford Motor Company, rising to become President, but was fired in 1978 due to personality conflicts. After being fired from Ford, Iacocca joined Chrysler which was struggling financially and on the verge of bankruptcy. Through his leadership, Iacocca was able to turn Chrysler around and bring it back to profitability.

Lido Anthony "Lee" Iacocca is an American businessman
most commonly known for his revival of the Chrysler
Corporation in the 1980s,serving as President and CEO from
1978 and additionally as chairman from 1979, until his
retirement at the end of 1992.
He is the author or co-author of several books, including
Iacocca: An Autobiography, and Where have all the Leaders
Gone?
Career at Ford
• Joined Ford Motor Company in 1946
• After a brief stint in engineering, moved to sales
and marketing where his career flourished
• Promoted to head of the company's Ford division
in 1964. He was made President of Ford on
December 10, 1970.

• After being fired at Ford, Lee was aggressively
