HOI LP Tower Antenna Installation: Important Notes

Several antennas were installed incorrectly at HOI light pole tower sites, with some rotated more than 60 degrees from the proper azimuth alignment. To correctly install additional antennas in the same sector, the existing antennas must be within 30 degrees of the mounting pole azimuth and installed on the same pole structure. Site supervisors should be notified if the mounting poles themselves are incorrectly aligned to ensure proper antenna installation in the future.

Important notes
Wrong Antenna installation
• We found a lot of antenna installed wrong in Light
pole tower, especially in HOI site.
• In some of the sites, antennas are rotated more
than 60 degree from the azimuth of antenna
mounting pole.
• From the above situation, the second antenna (5G
or Octa or Hepta) cannot install properly in same
sector.
Solution
• Same Sector (Example- Sector A) must be install in
same structure of mounting pole.( LP site have 3
mounting pole structures and each structure have
2 mounting poles)
• Don’t rotate antenna more the 30 degree from the
azimuth of mounting pole.
• If mounting poles are installed in wrong azimuth,
inform to site supervisor.
