SCHOOL Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 Chapter 2 – Slides Tasks NEW SLIDE
There are a couple of ways to add a new slide. In each
way, the slide that is currently selected is important as the new slide will be placed after the selected one.
The shortcut for adding new slides is ctrl-m.
TYPE OF SLIDE If you click the top half of the New Slide button, the default Title and Content type will be added.
If you click the bottom
half of the button, you will be able to select the type of slide. DELETING SLIDES
There are two common ways to delete slides. Select the
slide and then
Press the delete key on the keyboard
Right click on the slide and select Delete Slide
If you have a group of slides that run in sequence, you
can delete them by selecting all the slides. MOVING SLIDES You can change the sequence of your slides by moving them around your presentation.
To move a slide in your presentation, all you have to do
is drag and drop it where you need it. EXERCISE 1 Type your name and class in the first slide. Create the second and third slide with the slide type “Title and Content” Create the fourth and fifth slide with the slide type “Two content”
Save the file
1. Location – Desktop 2. File Name - Ch2Ex1 3. File Type – PowerPoint Presentation EXERCISE 2 Open a saved file Double Click the saved file Named “Ch2Ex1” Create the sixth slide with the Slide Type “Section Header” Delete the second slide Move the last slide be the third slide
