DARUL KHULD

Khuld means forever;


Darul khuld – the place or
the house of permanency.
This is the lowest level of
Jannah, & the foundation
of this level is built with
silver, pure silver.
DARUS SALAM

The next level above this is


called Darus salam, the house
of peace & its foundation is
made of red rubies. According
to a hadith of the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬
this level is especially for the
poor.

“If you will become
content with little
which Allah has given
you. Allah ‫ ﷻ‬will also
be content on the little
amaal (actions) from
you”

DARUL MAQAM

Then the third type of Jannah


is called Darul maqam.
Maqam means destination.
The foundation of this level is
made of gold. This level is for
the people who are thankful,
for the Shakireen.
Jannatul Adn

The next level of Jannah is


called Jannatul adn. Adn is
an elevated part & some
scholars interpret it as the
middle rank. The base of
this darajah is made up of
green emeralds. This level of
Jannah is especially for the
Aabideen, the worshippers
DARUL QARAR

Darul qarar is the


place of rest, the
house of rest. Its
base is made of
mixed precious
stones.
Jannatun Naeem

The next is Jannatun


naeem. Naeem means
blessings. So, this is
the Jannah of
blessings. This level is
especially for the
martyrs, the Shuhada.
Jannatul Mawaa

Then the next level is


Jannatul mawaa. Mawah
literally means the utmost
gift. That is also for martyrs,
but those martyrs who are
Muhsineen as well. They are
those who did not only give
their life for the sake of Allah
but also led their lives with
perfection. This level is also
Jannatul Firdaws

The top level of


Jannah is named
Jannatul Firdaws.
And this level is for
the Messengers, the
Prophets and the
practicing scholars.
On top of Jannat-ul-Firdaus, is the chamber of
Nur (light). This chamber of nur is specific for
our beloved ‫ﷺ‬. This is the place that has bee
given, on top of the eight level of Jannah. And
this is called the Maqam-e-Mahmud that is the
Maqam of praise that Allah has blessed him
