PITCH
Pitch refers to the highness or lowness
of a sound, which depends almost
completely in the frequency of the sound
wave. Frequency, as discussed is the
number of crests and troughs that pass a
point per second. The greater the
frequency of a sound wave, the higher the
pitch of a sound.
