Industrial relations basically a process in which communication,


consulting consultants are built and negotiated are supported by the
high capacity and commitment of all elements in the company.

Industrial relations basically emphasize the rights between workers


and employers and the rights and responsibilities of the individual.

Industrial Relations refers to the relationship between trade unions


which represent workers in an organization and the management of
the organization
Thus, the tree main actors in the industrial relation system are:

Three major laws related to industrial relations in Malaysia
 Employment Act 1955
 Trade Union Act 1959
 Industrial Relations Act 1967

There are several trade unions in Malaysia


Public & Civil Service (CUEPACS)
Malaysian Trade Union Congress (MTUC)
Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF).
The background of Industrial Relation in
Malaysia
the employer is in touch with his employees in matters such as setting
organizational goals, work system and also the distribution of profits and
compensation to employees

For employees, they need a platform or field that helps them achieve the
goals they want.

The reality is, in Industrial Relations there will be conflicts that exist
between the two parties. Therefore, this relationship is actually not based
on cooperation alone but also fueled by the existence of conflict
