take to get your WordPress website start
ed.
• Pick a domain name.
• Set up your hosting account.
• Install WordPress & choose your theme.
• Learn WordPress Dashboard
• Customize website.
Step 1: Getting Started and Choosing a Domain
Name

•Before you can begin building your website,


choosing your domain name is one of the most
important parts as this is how your audience will
find you and identify with your brand.
•Your domain name is what people type into their
browser to get to your website.
Step 2: Set Up Your Hosting
Account
•Fill the details in wordpress. after that, they will sen
d you the verification code then log in.
Step 3: Choose a theme
• Once you’ve found a theme that you love, WordPre
ss makes it easy to add that theme to your site.
•If you chose a free theme at WordPress.org,
search for the theme by name and click Install.
•If you purchased a premium theme, click the
Upload Theme button and upload the ZIP file
you should have received when you purchased
the theme.
After installing your theme

tivate button to make it ac
tive on your site.
Step 4: Learn the wordpress
dashboard
• The WordPress admin dashboard is the control pan
el for your entire website. It's where you manage y
our content, settings, plugins, activity, and basically
anything else you can think of.
Step 5: Customize website
• When it comes to design there are four key areas:
※Background. Change the color, texture, or image fo
r the background of your site to fit your brand or you
r product offering.
※Colors. Choose a palette that works well with your
template or create or replicate one that matches you
r brand color scheme.
※Fonts. Readability is paramount when it comes to
fonts. Use larger headlines to grab attention and
lead readers to smaller body text. When choosing
fonts, make sure your choice creates the right
image for your business.

※Text Style. There are sizes, colors, and styles of


text for different sections within your website
template. You can modify things such as
paragraph titles, menus, and page titles.
