Warm-up Exercise

 A warm-up is any activity


that prepares your muscle to
begin exercise. Warm-up
exercise help prepare your
body mentally and physically
in different activities.
Cool-Down Exercise

 A cool-down is a period of
three to five minutes of
activities after exercise.
During. A cool-down helps
your body return to normal
sate after exercise. During a
cool-down, your heart rate
slows back to its resting
rate.
Your Body Condition During
Moderate to Vigorous Physical
Activities
Dehydration

 Isa condition in which the


body does not have enough
water to function properly.
Drinking water is the best
way to replace lost water
and prevent your body from
being dehydrate.
Hyperthermia
(Heatstroke)
 Is a condition that happens
when the body cannot
control its temperature. The
body gets extremely high
temperature. High fever and
dry skin are noticeable sign
of heatstroke.
Hypothermia

 Is a condition In which your


body temperature drops below
normal due too much exposure
to cold. A person who was
hypothermia shakes
uncontrollably, speaks slowly in
slurred manner, and seem
sleepy.
Overexercising

 Regularexercise is good for one’ health. Most


people need to exercise only three to five times a
week. However, some people exercise too much.
When person exercises vigorously and for a
longer period of time, he/she as overexercising.
Proper Use of Equipment
and Facilities
General tips in taking care of physical
equipment and facilities

1. Be sure to handle and adjust equipment properly.


2. Keep equipment in a permanent place to lessen wear and tear.
3. Handle all equipment carefully; observe safety rules in handling
complex.
4. Inspect equipment regularly for unfastened parts
5. Apply lubrication when needed to avoid early deterioration.
6. Keep miscellaneous equipment in their designated cabinets or rack.
Provision for Safety

1. The place where the physical activity is held should be cleared of


hazardous objects
2. Risks should be eliminated.
3. Avoid attempting a skill beyond your ability.
4. Warm-up properly at the start of every physical activity.
5. Support classmate in order that they may experience kinesthetic feel of a
new skill and being supported in turn.
6. Develop the willingness to assist one another.
Provision for Safety

1. Be safety conscious.
2. Refrain from bringing food items in the physical activity area.
3. Wear the proper attire when engaged in physical activities.
4. Remove all articles of jewelry and refrain from using pins in your
clothing.
5. Refrain from horseplay in the activity area.
6. Avoid loitering before or after practice.
