 The training of an employee or technician for
gaining expertise and competence in at least
more than one skill besides his/her core skill is
known as Multi-Skilling.

Training Programme
1. Definition of what needs to be trained
2. Off the job training or designing around the
required skills;
3. Log books to record activities carried out;
4. An assessment and validation of competence is
made(On the job training).
5. Refresher training
6. Review of training programme for adequacy.
